Product is size that I need and the item appears to be made very well. Love the bag which is a smart idea. Flooring appears to be made of lightweight material but I have not used it yet to see if that is a problem.

It was fairly easy to put together, it appears to be of good quality, and held everything that I placed on the product in the included bag. It operates from folded to extended fairly easily. But, is a little heavy to install into the hitch by yourself; but can be done with a little preparation / planning.

Many people have commented on the bolts snapping. When I first installed my unit, I noted it was sagged as soon as loaded some weight. I added a shim where the basket folds down to raise/level the basket out and noted that I was able to slide the bolts/pins out much more easily. Thus, I believe the bolts are not there to actually support weight but instead keep the basket from raising up. Either way, just for safety I did upgrade the hardware to Grade 8 pins. With those fixes, the basket survived a 4900 mile road trip through some VERY rough roads in northern Mexico. I have only positive things to say about the vinyl luggage bag. It literally doubles the amount you can bring and worked flawlessly during muddy roads and rain. Heavy duty vinyl. Its somewhat heavy and difficult to fold it to fit in its little bag, but ill gladly take heavy duty vinyl any day. In short, its a great unit if you are willing to shim and upgrade the bolts.

Received this yesterday and started to put together today. There was no damage on the package, however, you can see in the photos, one of the name plates are all scratched up and one side support is bent as though it had been dropped. This is a utility item, blemishes don't tear me up, they will happen. When purchased new, however, I would like to be the one that does the damage 1st. Especially at this price. We are getting ready for a 14 day road trip so I am hoping the reviews of how good it is are true. I'm also hoping the damage won't make it structurally unsound. I will update after our trip. UPDATE: It made it our entire 3500 mile trip. By then end of the trip we were really getting concerned that this was not going to make it. It was really leaning to the side as well as to the back (away from the vehicle). It was so low, it would drag the ground if we had gone up a sharp driveway. If we had to do it again, we would not have purchased this from Mockins. We tried to contact the company when we 1st got this, both directly and thru amazon and didn't get a response what so ever. Really disappointing the lack of customer service. Yes, we realized, we should have sent this back or ordered earlier. We weren't expecting to need extra cargo space and we were really hoping it would last the trip we had planned. It did, barely.

This utility rack is well built and road worthy. Mine is the XL 72” unit. I was able to move a washer and dryer side by side with ease. I am impressed with the craftsmanship that they used manufacturing it.

I bought the second biggest one I think and we drove from Metro Detroit down to Jupiter, Florida without any issues with it loaded with of around 400 pounds I took a toe strap attached to the hitch itself, and then the front of the carrier to reduce some tension. I also took some other folks advice and got some grade 8 hardware and did not install to where you can flip it up at least for the long haul drive. When I got where I was going, I actually set the carrier on the trailer light connector and smashed it. Well they sent me a replacement for free. So far, so good with great customer service.

I looked up a video on how to assemble it and it was pretty easy, I think it’s awesome it comes with lights and a plate holder I got this product especially for my snow dog/track sled now I’m ready for the ice fishing season, I will say if you put a ramp on one side and try driving anything on top of it, the whole carrier wants to bend sideways, if you put something right to the middle it seems to do just fine.
