Accurate Bilingual Flash Cards for Toddlers
I bought these flash cards for my son to help expand his vocabulary, and overall we are very happy with this purchase. We speak Russian at home, so it was very important for me that the cards include accurate and correct Russian and English words. Based on my knowledge of both languages, the translations are correct and the pronunciations match the words shown on the cards, which is very important for language learning. The sound quality is clear and pleasant, and the voice is easy to understand. My son quickly figured out how the cards work and which side to insert them — he just turned two, and the size of the cards is comfortable for small hands. I also like that each card first says the word in Russian, then in English, and then plays a related sound (for example, a car or an animal sound), which makes learning more engaging and cute for toddlers. The only small downside is that the cards could be a bit thicker. They bend easily, so for younger toddlers they may get wrinkled if handled roughly. Other than that, it’s a very useful, educational, and fun toy. Great value for bilingual language exposure at an early age.

Great for learning languages
I absolutely love this. My daughter loves it, it’s very easy to use. She’s still little so I normally put the cards in. It’s very clear when it speaks, it’ll say it in Spanish and then English. My daughter is 16 months and likes to use it with me, but I feel like older than her would do great on their own with it. Overall a big fan!

One of THE BEST things we’ve gotten for our grandson
Bought Portuguese-English versions for dad Hutt and for us, the babysitting grandparents. Dad speaks almost exclusively in Portuguese while mom and we are only English. Our grandson is also raised without ANY screens. He LOVES these cards! He is 21 months old and putting simple 5 word sentences together. He dances to the musical instrument cards. He uses them on his own - is getting better with being gentle with the cards. The set we bought for our house has 2 more types of cards than the original set we bought first for our daughter’s house. I would like to buy additional cards and replacement cards— don’t need the players I’m not seeing any add in n sets of cards available, only full sets. That is the only issue I have with them.

Ok learning supplement, not enough cards for family members
I was looking for a toy that my kids could play with to supplement their learning of Cantonese. So far I think it's an ok supplement, but my kids loved their new toy. I'm not quite fluent in the language, but I did question the accuracy of some of the cards. For example, the cards don't make the distinction between younger or older siblings, and paternal or maternal side. There were a few cards for family members. I wish it include all immediate family members and grandparents on both sides of the family. There are 512 cards but some do repeat themselves. The organization of the purple cards in box A are a bit odd. Family members, colors, clothing, occupation and nature are grouped together. Also, it appears that the words are written in traditional form, and some of the words/phrases used seem to be in formal written form versus colloquial form. Other things to note: 1. The instruction manual and Box B are in Chinese only, but we haven't run into any issues yet. Google Lens helped with the translations. 2. You can switch to different languages (Mandarin and English), select the number of languages (up to 3), and the order in which the language is said. The default setting is Cantonese then British(?) English. It was a nice surprise that you can set it to Cantonese only or set it to Cantonese/Mandarin/English etc. 3. I wish there was a storage case to keep the cards together. The cards are smooth and sturdy. 4. Songs are in British English, and there's not much songs. Overall I would say it's an ok supplement to learn the language, but my kids enjoyed the toy so I bumped it up to 4 stars.

Very helpful
This is a fun and easy way to go through vocabulary. I initially got flashcards that had online files you had to download to hear the word pronounced and it was harder to juggle all that. Using this little unit you just pop the card into the unit and it says the word for you so you have a reference and a hope of pronouncing it correctly. The little unit holds a charge for very long time. I wish they had one that did phrases as well. It’s not as easy as I was hoping to take my new vocabulary and make sentences out of it, so if they had one that did phrases I’d get that as well but alas, they don’t.

Great Tool, Pronunciation Needs Improvement
It’s a good tool overall; however, the pronunciation goes by very quickly, making it hard to capture the sounds of the Korean accent. I wish it included a slower repetition option, as well as Spanish pronunciation support. Other than that, it’s a solid tool.
