What is the correct weight of this lopper? The technical details say 1.36kg, and the description says 1.68kg. Which is one is right?

Where are these made please?

Grúntek are a German company that likes to use its logo (which should really have a double point above the top of the "u".) Although they want to trade of the trusted German engineering history, I suspect that they are made in China. In a Google search it was impossible to discover the manufacturing country which is suspicious in itself. But then again the people of Google seem affectionate towards the CCP so that might be the reason. Unfortunately, I have discovered UK and German products arriving in boxes with extremely small printed text saying "Manufactured in China" . I must however concede to the fair fact that so far these loppers do what I want them to do. If you are looking to buy local to reduce the movement of goods across thousands of miles, then that is the most honest answer that I can give.

Is this 'gearing' the same as a ratchet system?

The photos do not show a ratchet system.

Does this come with warranty as the pair that I have bought aren’t cutting nicely ?
