I bought these since the joycons are expensive, plus they seemed a good size for my brother who has bad hands - and bothersome nerve endings on his hands that made normal controllers hurt him quickly. He ADORES this and has it with him all the time along with the case that fits this model. He can handle playing his switch for longer and it's just better for his hands. It's the best and something I'll definitely buy again if need be. It's definitely worth every penny.

I didn't notice before buying that this controller has its own battery, and uses a wireless connection to the switch whether or not it's docked. Because the hand positioning is so wide, it is extremely comfortable for long gaming sessions. Nobody in my house uses any other controller for the Switch. We've used it for at least 300 hours since purchasing, and I still haven't found anything I don't love about this controller. Also, the battery life is fantastic.
