these bars are my favorite! they are packed with protein and are so soft and chewy. i have one every morning after my workout.

Didn't like the taste of cake batter at first bite, and wasn't able to return even though I requested, which is strange to me, especially for a premium product. Their Cookie Dough flavor is much better, and I would steer toward that if you want to try this brand.

This is a superior protein bar. It is perfect when you need that quick protein snack in the middle of a busy day. That taste great as well.

Although David bars are actually a little high in protein for my physical issues, the bar is efficiently low in carbs, bad fats, and sodium. Really like pumpkin and chocolate chip flavors, not as much cake Actually wish that “David” would keep taste, texture, most ingredients constant, but provide another alternative with about half protein content—even though this is veg. protein, it’s still a bit dangerous because of my health issues—I would buy in large quantities

It’s truly amazing these bars exist, they are the ONLY protein bars out there that have over 25 grams of quality protein and are only 150 calories, basically making them the only bar actually close to equivalent to straight protein powder. They taste fine, some flavors are better than others, but you can’t expect something as clean as these to taste like the ultra processed brands chemically designed to taste good I didn’t think it was fair to knock off a star for the price because unfortunately quality costs more, I’d rather have them less often than have the company change their recipe and add more processed garbage fillers and fat to make them cheaper. That being said the price is double most other brands so I do wish they had cheaper options in some way, like a smaller size pack of the same flavor or had some sort of promotion where every month one of their flavors is discounted without having to subscribe

This is definitely one of the best bars on the market. In terms of flavor, it tasted like any other protein powder of a similar style. You really notice the lack of sugar but it doesn’t hinder the taste. If you’re expecting something that tastes sweet, you might be disappointed, but it reminded me of some of the classic muffin mixes. If you live somewhere hot, you’ll want to leave the bars somewhere to firm up at room temperature, or put in the fridge/freezer.

The cake batter flavored high protein bars which I spent $39.99 on , didn’t taste like cakes or cake batter & the only way I can say that it’s high protein is because they claim that on the box !!!! It mentions putting the box in the fridge (which I think I should have done). The packages of bars were difficult to open because every piece of the bars- which touched the inside packaging was stuck to it. It really could have used some wax paper (between the bars and its packaging) or have it already cut into little pieces like a Hershey’s Bar. The box arrived inside a larger box (which protected them). They weren’t hard, stale or dry. They smelled perfectly fine (but then I had nothing to compare it against). Am I satisfied? It’s difficult answering that. Will I be buying more? NO. Were they worth the money? NO. Will I be asking for a refund? Probably not since I can’t actually return anything (I’m handicapped, bedridden and have been in a long term care facility since 2021) . I’ll probably ask my aides if they would like any, and also have the aides ask the patients if they would like some (our aides are aware of who can eat and those who cannot real food).
