Works and looks great
All in all I am very happy with my purchase. In general, the dispenser certainly looks better than the cardboard box/dispenser that the plastic comes in, the cardboard box never stayed put when the wrap was pulled out and the end of the plastic was always falling back into the box. The dumb task of fishing out the end of the wrap finally made me decide to find a dispenser that was easier and cleaner to use. I debated for a time between this product and the Kenkut 3 Kenkut 3 Plastic Film and Foil Dispenser . I was looking for a plastic sheet dispenser that was of commercial quality, not too large, easy to use and would look good permanantly stationed on my kitchen counter top. I finally decided against the Kenkut 3 because of its size (20" x 8.5") thinking I would give up too much counter space. The Stretch-tite Wrap'N Snap (14" x 3.5") takes up less than 1/3 of the countertop area as the Kenkut (49 versus 170 square inches). This product is also less than half the price of the Kenkut 3. Another deciding factor was that I have for years used the Stretch-tite plastic wrap available from Costco in the 750 sq ft rolls. The plastic wrap is tough and clings well. The Stretch-tite rolls fit perfect into the Stretch-tite dispenser without any wasted space. Pros: Easy to clean. Looks good. Wrap is cut simply by depressing the cover of the dispenser with either your finger or the heel of your hand (if your fingers are soiled). The design is such that the next sheet of wrap can be pulled with your fingers without touching the dispenser. Stay-put feet can be removed and cleaned. As long as your counter top and the dispenser's feet are clean, the dispenser will stay put when pulling the wrap. I found that pulling the wrap at about a 45 to 60 degree angle to the counter top helps to keep the dispenser from moving or tipping. Pulling the wrap at a nearly parallel angle to the countertop invariably causes the dispenser to tip or slide. Cons: Loading the plastic into the dispenser, at first, seems confusing but once you understand the design it is easy and quick. I highly recommend this dispenser especially if you use Stretch-tite plastic wrap.

It Works!!!
Nearly perfectly. Here's how it works. You lift the lid and trigger two buttons, one on each end. That frees the insert. You insert your roll of plastic wrap and pull the loose end out and back over the lid. Replace the insert. Now, the tail end of the plastic is running between two pieces of plastic. Those pieces have three curved cutouts at both ends and the middle. This allows you, after cutting, to pull the end out to the desired length. To cut, bring the lid down all the way. It doesn't feel like much happened, but when you let the lid up, the plastic is cut cleanly. The new roll end is again caught between the plastic pieces and ready for you to pull another. If you were to pick the loaded dispenser up and shake it, it's possible to bounce the roll around enough to pull the end back into the body of the machine, in which case, you just open the insert and reload. No big deal. I'm kind of stunned. I really didn't expect this kind of slick operation. If it matters, I have been using 100-foot Saran wrap in it. I see no reason for it to work any differently with other brands. The lid that you lift to grab the roll end sits about halfway ajar, but there is a simple one-hand twist latch that can hold it closed to keep it from crumb-catching if you like. I feels substantial and well made and will likely last long enough to be well worth the price. As related in other reviews, it probably won't take very large rolls. It comes with some soft rubber shoes, one for each side, that gives it considerable traction on a counter. But on my slick stainless counter or on top of my no-fingerprint enameled bread box, it's barely heavy enough to sit still reliably when you pull a length. That's not really too big a deal. It pretty well takes two hands, one to pull and one to push the lid down to cut, so you have a hand on the dispenser anyway. I'm going to rig mine with a sheet magnet glued to the bottom to stick to my steel counter or steel breadbox. Of course, no problem if it's attached with screws. The instructions specifically say that it won't work with foil. I suspect, though, that it may well work with parchment or wax paper. I bake all our bread, and I frequently need to pull a foot of wrap to cover a bowl during proofing. I intensely dislike fiddling with a plastic wrap box and the inadequate cutting edge provided. Plus, the box falls apart before I finish the roll. No more of that. As I said, IT WORKS!

Best wrap and best dispenser I ever used. Love it.
NO MORE FIGHTING WITH PLASTIC WRAPS. The Wrap'N Snap is fast, convenient, mega easy. Does the job and no wasting wrap. This dispenser has sat on my counter for a couple of years now and I use it every day. Best dispenser I ever used AND best wrap on the market. You could have it in a drawer, but I find it more convenient to keep it right there on the counter where I use it all the time. It's a neutral color. Looks fine and gives you the right amount of wrap; cutting it cleanly and EASILY AND SAFELY. No more fighting with wrap in a flimsy box and that RAZOR sharp serrated cutting strip they all have. I did think the price for this could be lower, but I think it has paid for itself in saving me time, effort, aggravation, and not wasting wrap. I would absolutely buy it again. (And the Stretch Tite wrap itself is THE best, hands down. But that I purchased separately.)

I did not get paid or receive anything for this review. I personally purchased and paid for this item from amazon.ca (verified purchase). The Stretch-tite Wrap'N Snap 7500 Dispenser ... made by Polyvinyl Films Inc is absolutely beautiful and will work with any size of plastic wrap rolls. The Stretch Tite 750 size of rolls ( 2 pack ) is by far the "best buy" and the best plastic wrap you will ever buy or use, but unfortunately it is currently not available on amazon.ca at a reasonable price. There are a few products claiming to be "Stretch Tite" on amazon.ca. If it doesn't clearly state "Stretch Tite" in large bold letters on the outside of the box then I guarantee you that regardless of what the description states the product you are viewing is not "Stretch Tite". I'm currently using a 90m roll of " Cling Wrap " in the unit and it functions absolutely just fine and it was super easy to load the plastic wrap into the dispenser. To use the dispenser is equally just as simple. You toggle the latch at the front to open the lid and grab the edge of the plastic wrap and simply pull the amount of plastic wrap you require towards you. Gently push down on the lid and it cleanly cuts is off. Close the lid and secure the latch and thats it. When it comes to a plastic wrap dispenser, It simply doesn’t get any easier or better than this. I recommend this quality product to all and I hope you enjoyed my review and it was helpful. May 18th 2017 { UPDATE } I recently just purchased two 750 rolls of the Kirkland Signature Stretch Tite Plastic Food Wrap from Amazon.com for $10.99 per roll and the total cost to my door was $39.00 USA or $55.00 Canadian. The Kirkland Signature Stretch Tite Plastic Food Wrap is the best quality plastic wrap I have ever used and it's 100% free of all harmful chemicals. These 750 size of rolls are huge and are almost 3 inches in diameter and hold the equivalent of approximately 5 rolls of Cling Wrap the 90m roll size. The Cling Wrap 90m rolls are about $5.00 per roll so the price for the Kirkland Signature Stretch Tite Plastic Food Wrap at $27.50 Canadian per roll costs about the same as what we pay for Cling Wrap. Unlike any other plastic wrap you have ever used the Kirkland Signature Stretch Tite Plastic Food Wrap clings to everything like glue. I posted this update because there are no reasonable prices on Amazon.ca for the 750 size of Kirkland Signature Stretch Tite Plastic Food Wrap.

This is a very good dispenser. I purchased it knowing Australian wrap might not fit inside. The risk was worth taking as I have one of these made for Glad but it is worn out. When it arrived I had to grind out the plastic tabs on the inside, with a Dremel, and add shims to centralise the roll.

Impressive. Easy to assemble and cutting edge is very sharp and cuts plastic wrap with ease. This was purchased to replace one that just had a toothed edge that lost effectiveness over time. Unlike others, this requires no effort! Pull out the wrap, push down the top and your done. It's that simple. Absolutely love this device and highly recommend it for anyone looking to win the battle with plastic wrap fighting. Having arthritis, this is easy single handed use. The quality of the plastic wrap used is also a factor so I recommend not getting the cheapest kind. Using with a good quality plastic wrap will leave you happy everytime. It can be hung on a wall or used on a flat surface.

Update 10Jul'20: I previously gave this a low score because I thought the cutting mechanism was poor. However I figured out that you need to have slight tension on the wrap for it to cut well. Just pull lightly as you cut. I should also note that it's super quick and easy to refill. The way it's designed there's no need to feed the wrap through any slits. Drop the roll in, pull a bit of the wrap out and close. Original Review: The cutting mechanism is temperamental. Occasionally it cuts with little effort. Usually however you must use a lot of pressure which then causes the cover to snap past the point it is supposed to. I don't think it will break but it's not a good feeling that's for sure. Other than this, it's convenient to use since you don't have to lift it up to use. It stays securely on the counter when pulling and cutting the wrap. It's also big enough to take larger than normal spools. 90m spools for example fit no problem. Don't be fooled when it says it's only for Stretch-tite brand wrap. You can use any brand lol.
