This HP computer is Impressive and solid build!
I’ve always liked HP products. Quality and Performance not to leave out using it. I am impressed and have tried tech support for answers to a few issues. A few were easy because I was walked though some steps to achieve my goals. I would have really appreciated being able to get to a real HP REPRESENTATIVE FASTER but after getting through a couple of things I couldn’t spend anymore time with trying. AI IS GOOD TO AN EXTENT BUT cannot replace real people. My issue was setup and couldn’t get connected to my other HP with windows TEN and the new one is ELEVEN.. I kept getting put to a different recorded guide. The computer works great but I’m questionable about support and the new learning curve. I just wanted to network the two computers and did not accomplish that yet. It’s a fast responsive computer and I still recommend it. I might get lucky as far as HP SUPPORT and speaking to somebody that is alive.

Fast, Solid, Reliable Windows 11 PC
I bought this PC because Microsoft made Windows 10 obsolete. I was very happy with my older PC and with Windows 10. I don't find Windows 11 better than Windows 10. But this new PC is good: fast and, so far, reliable. Using OneDrive made moving from one PC to another, easier than before, but transferring my emails in Outlook from one PC to another was tedious as I had to use the Outlook file export/import facility and it did not work for the entire archive.pst, so I had to split it and do it folder by folder within the Inbox. Except for this, the PC does the job, including accepting new peripherals in a user friendly way. Fast PC, lots of SSD storage. Good value for the money, I think, especially when bought during Amazon Days!!

So far it has been great, but too soon to assess reliability
I've had this for a couple months now, so far it is working well. Bloatware was immediately removed. There was a learning curve changing from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but that's a review for Microsoft rather than and HP product. HP has been very helpful in directing me to the drivers for peripherals that I use and did not want to give up (I have a laser printer I've been using since 2007 that I love and still works GREAT!). I was thrill to avoid the dreaded obsolete software messages. Speed is fantastic, generous number of USB connections, storage more than meets my needs, and it even includes a VGA option in addition to the standard HMDI for my monitors. Hopefully long term reliability will also be great.

Problem for everyone making this purchase.
Product review: Problem for everyone making this purchase. Windows S Mode and Refurbished Devices. Many refurbished computers are originally licensed with Windows Home in S Mode, not Pro. S mode restricts software installation to Microsoft Store apps only. Although you opted out of S Mode (which is permanent), the underlying license remains Windows Home, not Pro. The Product Key Issued by the reseller provided you with a Windows Pro product key, but: If the system image (firmware + OEM license embedded in the motherboard) it is still Home based, the system can: Appear to accept the Pro key Then reverts behavior back to the Microsoft Store. Locking the customer out of his software and preventing use of your software. This usually means: The Pro key is not properly bound, or the system was not clean installed with Windows Pro, which is required. So why Your Software Stopped Working When the system reasserted Microsoft Store enforcement: Google Docs (via browser), legacy desktop apps, and non-Store software becomes blocked This locks you the customer out of using the functionally, you have paid for. Anyone purchasing these systems will always be looking over their shoulders to see if this this will revert back and block your soft wear. I have made Amazon aware of this Problem. I will see what they may do not only for me but for many customers as well?

Limited Customization During and After Purchase
I advise ordering to your specs rather than planning much upgrading. First I was disappointed with how HP has fallen from my past experience with an I7 Envy purchase. Some years ago I was able to basically custom design an I7 desktop when ordering. Power Supply, RAM, SSD size, Graphics, Software packages, etc. No More. The options are severely limited. "No problem" I thought". I will get as close as I can without expensive overkill then upgrade from there. Nope! Ordered additional SSD storage, M2 Nvme. Opened the case to find that both M2 "expansion" slots are occupied. Ok so I'll use a PCie X4 slot M2 adapter. That might have worked but there is only once open slot and it will be occupied by my Graphics upgrade. And the 310 watt Power Supply will have to be replaced but the only option is a proprietary, overly expensive 500 Watt PSU. If you look at any of the specs you will not find the power supply wattage. Had I made these discoveries before I transferred and set up everything on this Envy, I would have put it back in the box, returned it and went with the overkill option. If HP is not going to allow you to spec the PC when ordering, at least allow enough expansion slots for the customer to upgrade after receipt. Adding extra M2 SSD storage is very common these days. An unoccupied M2 slot should be a no brainer - especially at this price level. I gave four stars as the product is fine as ordered. The problem lies in the limited customization options. I had come to expect much better from HP.

As advertised
Good price and as advertised. Took some time to set up due to MS stupid requirements but no reflection on the computer.
