This is one of the best power strips I have every purchased. It works great in my dorm room and has lots of variety for the cords it takes as well as an on off switch which isn't always common on the block strips. I have bought a few of these because they are very handy. The cord is high quality, and the shape is perfect because it has room for those larger cords that usually take up multiple plugins. They also have holes in the back for convenient mounting. I have mounted mine under some desks and they work great! My main complaint is that they do make a very faint buzzing sound. It does not bother anyone else in my family, but I am very sensitive to sounds. It is very quiet, but I can still hear it. I use a couple of these in my office, and it is no big deal because the computers make more noise than the power strip. But, I did have one next to the bed in my bedroom, and it drove me nuts when I was trying to sleep. It didn't bother my wife at all, but like I said... I am sensitive to those types of sounds. So, if you are like me, this might bother you from time to time. Other than that, these power stripgs are great!
