Amazing case! This Apple fangirl says it’s better than Apple’s
The primary thing I do on my iPad is type. I use this every day to type novel manuscripts, journal entries, work notes, and more. Before getting an iPad I was thinking I would have to get the iPad Pro + the very expensive Magic Keyboard to get a good typing experience, but I decided to take a risk and save some money by getting the 10th Gen iPad and this keyboard. Thank God, because buying this keyboard saved me $1000, which is how much more it would have cost me to get an apple Magic Keyboard and compatible iPad! I also like that this keyboard has backlight keys. A lot of Magic Keyboard owners complain about the backlight being difficult to configure, but this one has backlight keys right on the keyboard. Having the backlight be any color I want is very fun too! Apple couldn’t have given me that. Another thing this keyboard does better than Apple is the function keys. There are lots of function key options and I find myself using them all the time. I wouldn’t have realized what I was missing if I went with Apple’s keyboards, so I’m very glad I didn’t. The key feel is excellent also. I went to the store to compare this key function with the 2024 Magic Keyboard key function several times, and I have to say, the difference is VERY minimal. I do think the Apple Magic Keyboard is a shade better since it is the same keyboard as the one on my apple laptop, but it’s truly a tiny difference that is not worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars. And this is coming from someone who is such a picky princess and will spend huge money on Apple products. I like that it’s USB-C charge, very easy to charge alongside everything else. I also love the manual on/off button which makes it very easy to know if the thing is off or not so I don’t waste battery. The weight is definitely noticeable, but it’s virtually the same weight as the Apple brand Magic Keyboard. There is an additional weight cost over the Magic Keyboard of maybe 0.25lbs, very trivial. I find it quite usable to carry around.

Would recommend buying, and would buy again! Please see below for pros/cons
Important: One review that almost prevented me from purchasing stated that when a user holds down the backspace button words are not automatically deleted. Also, if they held down the arrows, it wouldn’t automatically scroll. The reviewer stated that a user had to push the buttons consecutively in order for the keyboard to delete or scroll. I am happy to report the manufacturer must have fixed this issue because I can hold down the delete button and it will automatically erase words and the scrolling works if you hold the arrows down too! Overall impressions of this unit when unboxing is that is does seem very sturdy and well built. Connecting to Bluetooth was smooth and effortless. Pros: 1.) Keys are tactile and responsive. 2.) Keys do have light feature so this keyboard can be used in low lit conditions. 3.) Magnets are strong and hold the tablet very well. 4.) Adjustable tilting function is very nice and holds the tablet steady at all positions. 5.) Keyboard itself makes the iPad so much more versatile! Cons: 1.) With the tablet tilted all the way backward, it makes the keyboard fall backward as it isn’t balanced. If you don’t have your hands on the keyboard on your lap it will backward, but no issues on a flat surface so could be worse. 2.) Wish it could be connected via wire so I can use the Bluetooth in the tablet for my headphones. Using keyboard and headphones at the same time is not doable. 3.) Hands do feel kind of cramped typing on a small keyboard like this, but that is expected. 4.) With the limited real-estate on the keyboard itself, the manufacture has stacked functions into keys. While I am thankful for the abundance of functions, you will be referring to the legend at the bottom left of the keyboard often to remind you what shortcut enables these functions/shortcuts. Overall, I would definitely purchase this unit again as I am very happy with it. As a matter of fact, I typed this entire review using it!

Really is very good. Only thing a bit awkward is not a lot of room to push the number keys up the top.
