The Housemaid's Wedding: A Short Story

The Housemaid’s Wedding was a great, short read and I’m glad it exists as a companion to the series. It was nice to return to these characters without committing to a full book, and the story itself was engaging and easy to get through. While this novella can be read after book three and still make sense, I really think it works best only between book two and book three. The timeline, character dynamics, and emotional beats fit much more naturally there. Reading it later does not ruin anything, but it does lessen the impact since you already know where things end up. Overall, it’s a solid addition to the series and worth reading. Just be mindful of the order if you want the best experience.

If you’re a devoted follower of the Housemaid series, this quick read will scratch the itch between books. Nice short story of Millie and Enzo. It is a good segment into the last book for The HouseMaid.

I really liked this book it was easy to read and short too. I think Freida really did a great job with this book I loved Enzo.

This short and sweet story was interesting to say the least. It was fun diving back into this world and sort of getting a glimpse into the gap between Housemaid’s Secret and The Housemaid’s Watching. I’m being so real with you, and I’m a big fan of this series. If you were fine with ending your reading at the Housemaid’s secret and didn’t want to continue on. I’d say that that would be a fine stopping point. Even though I did really like The Housemaid’s Watching. I don’t really think this one is necessary. Unless you absolutely love Millie’s story and want to get every single moment with Millie and Enzo. This book is certainly for the hardcore fans of this series. I’m glad I read it and got to check off yet another book from McFadden! Getting closer and closer to finishing off her backlog. 🖤

This is a very short novel, but so great. Millie wakes up on her wedding day to phone call. It from a ex husband of one of the woman she help rescue. All Millie wants is a great wedding. She bought a blue dress for her wedding, her parents are coming and she is pregnant. This day doesnt start off well. The phone call, the dress doesnt fit. All this is happen while the wedding is scheduled four hours away. Enzo helps by getting the dress fixed, but while he is gone she get another call feom the same guy. What else can go wrong? I love that it was a quick read tontell is how they got married. Can't wait to start the last book tomorrow.

love a short book! Freida is a great author!! Loved this book, enjoyed reading about the wedding!

Freida never disappoints, this Millie's short story is great ! It has the exact amount of thriller and romance. Recomendable
