Complete waste of money
Absolute rubbish ! Don't waste your money. No instructions, very difficult to assemble even by a competent D-I-Y er, Flimsy construction, appears to be made from plasticised card, and even when full of earth is not substantial enough to do what it is intended to do. Planting cups won't stay in place either, so have binned the whole thing and looked for something else.

INTERESTING CONCEPT.... If it's what YOU want!!
Interesting Item ~ 1/3 the price by ordering it from UK, even with shipping, and arrived in 1 WEEK by UPS!! VERY tricky to put together and glad I didn't pay more for same. Because of it's DELICATE nature, I had to put it someplace that was permanent and that was up on the concrete retaining wall. I wanted it for HARDY succulents and planted geraniums in the top. It's been up for a month or so and the ORANGE terra cotte color is fading to a brownish red clay look....... OK with me. I did put screening in the bottom and then the water tube before adding the soil. Would I buy one of these again....... NO, the "cup" extentions don't stay lined up and might not stay in over time... we'll see...... The construction is like plastic cardboard with long metal "pins" to hold the bottom to the top and give some support to the sides. It's definitely not a clay strawberry jar or one of the tubs that you slice and put a 2x4 through to make a shaped hole, but it could work for YOU???!!!

Dreadful to construct
Once completed it is reasonable and probably does the job, how long it will last though is another matter. However, it comes packaged as cheap plastic bits and pieces and is a nightmare to construct. I'm used to assembling all sorts of things but this is one of the worst. It doesn't even come with a diagram showing the method but simply a poorly worded instruction note. I've no idea where it was made but I guess it would be in some far eastern country that has cheap labour and lousy materials. Overall a nasty piece of equipment requiring Krypton factor assembly and five pairs of hands.

There Are Better Ways Of Growing Strawberries
In the few years since buying this planter, I've had plenty of experience using it. What a waste of money it was, dear me! After 2 years the plastic decided to break and crumble away due to ultra violet instability, and it never made it to the 3rd year and instead ended up in the recycling quite some time ago. Not sure if they still sell these, but for the love of God save your money and grow your strawberries in something that isn't going to end up being absorbed back into your body through your strawberries containing all the micro plastics from your strawberry planter.

The package came and the contents had a layer of some sort of dirt covering it. After putting on some glove and wiping it down I started putting it together. The instructions are not very clear but after trial and error finished putting it together. The cups are not all a tight to the body so I put some duct tape pieces, affixing each cup to the body. I didn't expect much from this but I expected a little more than having to make alterations to keep pieces in place.

Strawberry tub
Looks good, haven't put the compost or soil in yet waiting for plants to arrive but seems to be easy to assemble and fill. Looking forward to lots of strawberries next year.
