My boys started becoming interested in my multimeter and learning about electronics. This is a perfect book for introducing basic electronics concepts and testing methods. The explanations are accurate, but not overly technical. The book is well organized, and easy to read. They walk around the house testing every circuit they can. :) My girls have gotten caught up in the craze, too.

In my younger wrenching days (30plus years ago) I used a mulitimeter quite often. In fact I was known as the electric guy in the shop. However, as that chapter in my life closed and I went on to a different vocation that didn't require use of a mulitimeter. I forgot how to use my meter as efficiently as I once did. This book gives me the step by step instructions that I need to use my meter once again to get the information that I am seeking on the item I am testing. The book doesn't interpret the information the meter is providing. It only shows a person how to configure the meter to get the information. This book is a go to reference for me today. And, I think it gives valuable information to someone seeking information on how to use a mulitimeter.
