This was my first ever yarn purchase when I started to crochet about 6 months ago, and I wanted to give an updated review after having tried out several other yarn brands since buying this one. I really found no issues with this yarn! There were a few knots in a handful of the skiens, but after learning that this isn't uncommon with any brand of yarn, I'm not bothered by it at all. There was enough yarn here to make 2 small blankets for my mini dachshunds. I didn't do anything fancy with the color changes, just picked up with a new color wherever the last one ended. Those 2 small blankets used up all the yarn with a little black left over since I only used the black for the borders. Overall, I'd say this yarn is OK quality. It's really pretty soft, and has held up very well in the washer and dryer. I didn't even put the blankets inside of a pillowcase, nor did I put the wash or dry cycles on delicate (because I didn't know at the time that that's recommended with crochet pieces), and they've both held up wonderfully. The only thing I can really complain about is that the yarn does split more easily while working with it than a lot of the other brands I've tried so far. So, while this kit would be great for a beginner, the splitting can be a pain if you're just starting out. I wouldn't say that's a deal breaker, though. I haven't done any amigurumi projects yet, but I'd guess that this kit would be a good choice for that as well if you're doing smaller stuffies. If you're a beginner and are looking for a variety of colors to play with, I'd recommend getting this. If you don't care about the color variety and just want to practice your stitches, tension, etc., I'd probably recommend just grabbing a $4 skien of Red Heart yarn. It's cheaper and it doesn't split nearly as much as this yarn does. Overall, this was a decent buy for the price, esp since it comes with stitch markers and hooks. Ifnyarn splitting bothers you, I might choose something else, but other than that, I did like this product for what I used it for.

This yarn is really nice. It's a decent size skein for the value of the package, and the colors are so vibrant and really pretty! The yarn is soft to touch, and it looks well put together. I haven't had a chance to work with it just yet, but I will update once I do. So far though, I'm liking it! Update: I was finally able to work with it, and still loving it! My only complaint is that my hook would snag the yarn sometimes, but it wasn't anything too horrible. Overall it was easy to work with, and my project came out great! (I used this yarn only on the parts circled in red on my cactus picture)

I’ve been crocheting a long time. I’ve made many things using various weights and brands of yarn. I recently decided to learn amigurumi so I wanted small skeins for small projects. These little skeins fit the bill , both size and budget-wise. I’m not totally disappointed with this yarn but neither am I rushing to my stitching friends urging them to buy. PROS: Yarn is very soft and pleasant to the touch. It glides pretty effortlessly, making stitching easy in that regard. Colors are well saturated and pretty. Finished product (I made tiny Christmas stockings to decorate gifts) looks very pretty. And… the price is definitely right! CONS: This yarn splits…badly and often! When it starts to split you can clearly see the individual strands of yarn and it looks like the yarn twists are unraveling as you stitch! Every knitter and crocheter deals with splitting yarn because they all split now and again. But this yarn split so much that I was repeating stitches nearly all the time and that REALLY slows you down…plus, it’s terribly annoying! A little correcting is something you deal with but with this yarn a small 20-30 minute project took nearly twice as long and left my hands and feeling tired and sore. Needless to say I won’t be using it to learn a new technique! Interestingly, I find more pros than cons with this yarn but I won’t buy it again because the con is really big and important…and that’s too bad.

Perfecto si estás empezando a coser. Tienes todos los colores para probar lo que quieras. Yo he comenzado haciendo un bolso de crochet de colores y está quedando ideal. Yo las uso con aguja de 5.5, pero se puede usar con aguja de 3.5 ó 4.5. Colores muy alegres.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.. Colori brillanti e vivaci, morbidezza infinita non sembra affatto un acrilico 100% ma sono così morbidi dall'effetto setoso. L'ho preso x far dare dei lavoretti ai bambini ma quadi mi dispiace sprecati x quanto sono belli....

Great acrylic yarn easy to crochet with and see your stitches. Colours are very bright, the orange is almost neon
