Great value for money as well and is always my go to drink when I have friends for a meal. Review: McGuigan Black Label Shiraz. - A ruby-red medium-bodied wine from Australia; it`s fruity, pleasant flavoured with a hint of dryness making it very palatable – I`m not a fan of overly-sweet reds; it paired well with a chicken and bacon pasta and I retained half the bottle for a meal of haggis, neeps and tatties – again, a very acceptable match. Although I got it as a table wine, it`s nice on it`s own and a good choice as an all-rounder red. At 12.5 %Vol. it`s reasonably potent and it was available from my local supermarket for £6.10 so it`s worth shopping around for.
