Game-Changer for Gut Health (and Taste Buds)-First Batch Perfection: Creamy, Tangy, and Delicious
I ordered the book Super Gut by Dr William Davis off Amazon and watched several videos on those that follow and make the probiotic yogurts he writes and speaks about my first time to ever do this with the ultimate probiotic yogurt machine I used organic heavy cream and two strains of the probiotics that Dr William Davis suggests to start with And I've never had such great yogurt such great tasting yogurt in all my life it's absolutely delightful It had just that bit of tang and this is the first batch having success with I ordered a second one today and what's amazing is I'm in Missouri and I was at the coffee shop at about 11:30 got on Amazon and ordered a second and it was here before 9:00 PM Incredible service from Amazon and this is an amazing product It's simple and effective it works and I'm so excited about the changes that are coming into my health you know these additions to my health regimen and routine which something I plan to stay with for the rest of my life making consuming 1/2 a cup a day or so of the probiotic yogurt thank you very much.

MAKE THE BEST TASTING YOGURTS WITH OPTIMAL HEALTH BENEFITS
After listening to Dr. Eric Berg's interview with Dr. William Davis I knew that I had to start making my own yogurt. Almost all commercially produced yogurts lack enough probiotics to be beneficial to one's overall health and many "trusted" name brand yogurts contain harmful chemical ingredients. I searched for a yogurt maker that met all of the standards stated by Dr. Berg and Dr. Davis for making the best tasting and the highest quality probiotic yogurts needed for facilitating optimal health. And I found, in my opinion, the very best yogurt maker with the Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker. In fact, it was Dr. Davis' scientific biochemistry discoveries that became the inspiration for the creation of the Ultimate probiotic health products along with their trusted business model for pleasing customers. The recommended temperature setting for fermenting yogurt, based on Dr. Davis' scientific research, should be 99° fahrenheit and the time duration of the fermentation should be 36 hours. At these optimal settings the probiotics in the yogurt will double every 3 hours 12 times over. These optional fermenting settings will produce mega billions of probiotics. To put this in perspective let me give an example of how this principle works. If you had one dollar and doubled it in three hours time you would have only two dollars. But, if you doubled it every three hours for 36 hours you would have increased the value of that one dollar into a total of 4,096 dollars. It should be noted that almost all commercially made yogurts are only fermented for four hours, making them woefully inadequate at providing any therapeutic health benefits. And, when they add sugars, flavorings and stabilizing chemicals it reduces the nutritional value of the yogurt to equal that of a candy bar. The Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker has two primary default settings and they are as easy to operate as one, two, three. The first default setting is the 99° temperature setting and the second default is the 36 hour setting. To initiate these default settings, first press the top button on the left labeled "Temperature - Time" and the 99° will appear in the display window. Then, press the second button on the top right labeled "Start - Reset" and the default setting 36 hours will appear in the display window. Press the "Start - Reset" button again and you are good-to-go. It's that easy. And, if you wish to use different settings than these default settings there are two plus and minus buttons below that allow you to change the times and temperatures to your preferences that adapt to your favorite yogurt recipes. I highly recommend reading Dr. William Davis' book: Super Gut, which can be purchased on Amazon in a hard copy or as a Kindle download. My primary reason for purchasing the Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker was to make L Reuteri yogurt. But, after reading Dr. Davis' book I realized that I needed to do some preliminary work in order to remove harmful toxins that block the full benefits of consuming high quality probiotic yogurts. Dr. Davis' book provides a preliminary yogurt recipe for removing these toxins that pave the way for receiving the full benefits of probiotic yogurts. I am currently at the first stage of removing these toxins that Dr. Davis labels as SIBO and SIFO toxins. So far I have fermented two different kinds of probiotics in both the quart sized bowls and in the eight six ounce jars. And, each finished product was perfect in consistency, absolutely delicious and one hundred percent nutritious. The Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker comes with a choice of either 2 quart size bowls with lids or 8 half-cup jars with lids. I prefer the smaller jars because there is less chance of cross contamination than with the larger bowls. I have also purchased a second set of 8 jars so I can start a new yogurt recipe with no waiting times between batches. These additional small jars and quart size bowls can be purchased separately on Amazon. I highly recommend the Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker and Dr. Davis' Book: Super Gut and give them both five super big sparkling stars with happy faces. Buy them both. You won't be disappointed.

The Super Yogurt Machine
After researching a lot of health issues and finding most to be food related I started on the path to making more of our own food to better control our ingredients. I listened to Dr. Eric Berg's video about fixing your gut and the matching chapter with Dr. Davis and the benefits of L.Rueteri that is missing from commercially produced yogurt, along with the additional ingredients that are harmful to your health, and I knew that I had to start making my own. In my opinion, I found the best choice for the yogurt maker for my purchase was the Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker suggested by Dr. Berg and Dr. Davis. The yogurt maker comes with a recipe book and has different recipes for different milk substitutes as well. I have fermented my first batch using raw milk and organic heavy cream for the added nutritional benefit that is stripped out in the pasteurization process. The yogurt came out beautifully and we can already feel the added difference it has given in addition to our healthy diet. We also give a small portion to our dog daily to help her gut. I know not all people have access to raw milk products and some may not feel comfortable using it or may not be able to. I do not suggest everyone to use it but for those who can and want to the yogurt came out a little thinner and had a creamy layer on top after sitting refrigerated which I just blended back it into the yogurt but you can separate it off and use that like sour cream if you prefer. I used the Kate Naturals Inulin Powder Organic from Blue Agave (8oz) Soluble Prebiotic Fiber and the Coolinario L Reuteri Yogurt Starter (10-Pack, 1.5g Sachets) Yogurt Starter Culture with Lactobacillus Reuteri Probiotics I had purchased along with the yogurt maker. I did not heat the milk as some recipes suggest so as not to kill off the natural bacteria in the raw milk. I did use the 99 degree preset and incubated for 24 hrs instead of the 36. The customer service has been great and the Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker was so easy to use.

Easy to use and makes excellent yogurt
I love my Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker. It works perfectly. The temperature and time controls are easy to adjust. I've made yogurt with both milk and half-and-half. Both are great, but the latter is especially creamy and tasty. The Ultimate is so much better than my previous yogurt maker.

Great Maker
Easy to use. Easy to set. My batches of yogurt have turned out perfect. Thick and creamy Greek style with no separation. Temperature is consistent. I set mine to 99 degrees and it doesn't change one degree after getting up to temperature which is less than an hour. Everyone loves my yogurt so much I bought another Ultimate Yogurt Machine. I it is just as good. I perfer the 2 bowl machine.

First purchase lasted 11 months. With the design change we are giving them one final chance.
We purchased this maker about 11 months ago and then something happened with its ability to regulate the temperature. We have used it weekly since we bought it, so when it started ruining our yogurt it was very disappointing. We recently gave in and bought another one because the concept and design of this yogurt maker is exactly what we wanted. It is a great size and in the past made literally perfect yogurt, the best, texture, density, and flavor we had every tasted. To my surprise just 11 months later they have change the design slightly. They have added a metal rod in the body of the maker. This rod now sits in the water and I am making the assumption they are using this to better monitor and regulate the water temperature while fermenting the yogurt. We just finished our first batch and it turned out perfect. I am hopeful that whatever failed in their temperature control circuitry with our last maker, has been fixed. I definitely think they have a design improvement now. If this one fails in less than a year like the last one, we will be done with this company forever.

Great for long ferment yogurt (L. reuteri/gasseri) – consistent temp and excellent results
I’ve been using the Ultimate yogurt maker for a few weeks now, specifically for longer fermentation yogurt (L. reuteri and L. gasseri), and it has worked really well for this purpose. I use half-and-half with a little inulin powder and ferment for about 36 hours at 100°F. Maintaining a stable, low temperature is critical for this type of yogurt, and this machine has been very consistent. I haven’t noticed any temperature fluctuations, which gives me confidence in the results. The 2 included 3 cup glass containers are a big plus. They’re sturdy, easy to clean and come with plastic lids. I also like that I can move them straight to the refrigerator once the yogurt is done. I also was able to get another set of glass bowls for leaving a review on FB which was a big bonus! With this method, I don’t need to strain the yogurt—the texture comes out naturally thick, creamy, and smooth. It’s richer than traditional yogurt and has a mild, slightly tangy Overall, this yogurt maker is reliable and holds temperature well, which is exactly what you need for both standard and extended fermentation yogurt. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re making probiotic-focused batches like L. reuteri or L. gasseri.
