Love it!
I’ve been using this wireless Android Auto adapter in my 2022 Toyota Tacoma for a few weeks now, and it has honestly been one of my favorite car accessories. My truck only supports wired Android Auto from the factory, and constantly plugging in my phone was getting old fast. This adapter fixes that completely. Once it was set up, it automatically connects every single time I get in the truck. I start the engine, and within seconds Android Auto pops up on the screen without me touching my phone. No cables, no fiddling, no reconnecting. It has been extremely consistent so far. Setup was simple. I plugged it into the USB port, paired my phone once, and that was it. After the initial setup, it has just worked. Audio, navigation, and controls all behave the same as when I used a wired connection. I have not noticed any meaningful lag when using maps or switching apps. What I appreciate most is how seamless it feels. It turns wired only Android Auto into something that feels factory wireless. For daily driving, errands, and commuting, it makes the whole experience smoother. The only thing to keep in mind is that it relies on your phone’s wireless connection, so if your phone struggles with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi stability, that could matter. In my case, it has been rock solid. Overall, if you drive a Tacoma with wired only Android Auto and want true hands off convenience, this adapter is absolutely worth it. It does exactly what it claims to do, and it does it reliably.

Size Doesn't Matter, It’s How You Use the Dongle
Let’s be honest, nobody likes fumbling around in the dark trying to find the right slot for their stiff, unresponsive cable. I was tired of the constant "plug and pray" routine every time I got into the cockpit. Enter the AAWireless Two. At just over two inches, this little European import is proof that big things come in small packages. The setup was so fast, I barely had time to get comfortable before we were fully connected. I just slipped it into the USB port, and once it was in, it stayed in. No slipping out mid-trip, no "losing the connection" right when things were getting exciting on Google Maps. The Multifunctional Button is a real sensitive spot—one touch and it knows exactly what I want. Whether I’m toggling between devices or just looking for a quick restart, it responds to my every command. And the best part? No wires. It’s completely "hands-free," leaving my hands at 10 and 2 where they belong (mostly). I was worried about a little "external interference" ruining the mood, but this thing is a pro. It’s smooth, lag-free, and handles every curve of the road without stuttering. If you're still tethered to your dashboard like it’s 2010, do yourself a favor: go wireless. Once you experience a connection this seamless, you’ll never want to go back to manual insertion again. It’s easy, it’s fast, and it always finishes the job. Best 18 grams I’ve ever spent money on.

Buy nice or buy twice! Seriously, just get this one!
Spend a little extra and get this one. Don't even waste your time reading reviews on the other ones. This is hands down the best. Trust me, it's not worth trying to save a couple of bucks. I tried and ended up buying this one anyway. With that being said, very very happy now! Starts automatically every time I start the car. Has built-in memory so it defaults to the last phone it was connected to. Has a really nice app interface. Downloads updates frequently which is nice to see. You can adjust the brightness of the light and several other functions. Again, like I said, don't cheap out. Get the good one so you don't regret it. I have it installed on the side of the center console almost tucked up under the dash. Totally incognito so no one knows it's there but easy to access if you need to switch phones. It's as easy as pushing the button once to switch between phones. This is in the running for best purchase I made this year. Definitely best purchase I made for my new car! Android auto works flawlessly. Assume carplay would do the same. Seems like these were over $100 just a year ago so what a steal to get such a quality little piece of hardware for this price.

Buttery smooth in operation but takes about 30 seconds to power up
It works well and the packaging is small and hardly wasteful. Once connected the audio plays smoothly and the navigation is smooth and is better than the carlinkit with less delay. Setup is pretty easy to do. You just connect it to Bluetooth and you can use you android auto or carplay. The one thing I don't like is that it tries to connect 3 to 4 times and takes about 30 seconds to connect the phone to Android auto from being plugged into the USB port. Compared to the Carlinkit wireless android auto receiver it much slower than the carlinkit one which connects in about 15 seconds when plugged into the USB port. Also fair warning to people is some cars can still supply power to the USB port on the car when it is off and it will connect your phone back to the car through android auto if you are in range of your car.

Great product for cars thay dont natively support wireless android auto.
Was easy to setup and has worked basically flawless since purchase many months ago. There have only been a few times were it didn't connect, but usually just hitting the button got it to work again or an issue with the phone side. Does tend to drain the battery a bit more and warm the phone, but not bad.

Far superior to both plug in adapters or vehicle built in Android Auto i havetried. Where connection was regularly lost on othersystems, this adapters stays connected. Recommended.
