These blankets are very lightweight, the one I weighed was 1.2 pounds. The widths very from 48 to 52 inches. All of the colors are lovely! As many of the reviews note they are musty right out of the package, and do have some stains and patches. I ran mine through the wash twice right away and after putting them in the dryer, I let them air out outside. No odor left! As you can see from the pictures of some of them, there is no rhyme or reason as to the combination of the colors or patterns of Saris that were sewed together. This adds a unique and whimsical flavor to each one. I have designated one for a cat blanket to keep fur off of my sofa. I plan on using one as a car blanket, another in the guest bedroom, and another to keep cozy on my porch while watching the stars at night. The last one will be for my massage therapy table to add a touch of warmth and weight for my clients while maintaining the right texture to fold for draping. I’m very glad I decided to purchase these as they add a cheeriness to any room in the house.

LOVE this blanket! It's super lightweight, well-made, and just plain fun to get something you *know* will be pretty, but you have no idea exactly *what* it will look like. It's got a funky smell straight out of the package, but you need to wash it anyway so no big deal. I absolutely plan to gift some of these. You can't beat the price. The stitching is super cute, too. Yay!

First one of these I ordered was great. The one that arrived today was ridiculous. There were two low quality patches over stained fabric in two places. Love that they are cool and light weight. Returning this one and ordering one more hoping I’ll get a decent one this next time :(

Took a chance based on the reviews. I am so glad I did. They are all very beautiful and colorful as I had hoped for. The stitching on mine are nicely done, so no issues with that either. I have not washed them yet as I just received them but will wash on the delicate cycle. I do not detect the an order at all as some of the reviews complained about so that is a plus. They are lightweight, as described and super fast delivery also.

I bought 2 packages of these blankets, so 10 pieces, to be used during a wedding weekend . It was the last event of the weekend, a picnic near the Golden Gate Bridge. They were just perfect for the occasion! Colorful and functional. I would highly recommend

Obviously made of vintage saris with some small holes which were very well patched. Looked beautiful and I loved it, except for the fact it had a bad, old musty unwashed smell. Several washes, airing it out in the sun etc. does not remove this smell. I used this Kantha quilt to make a jacket. The jacket turned out well, but I can't wear it because of the bad odor. I even used Febreeze spray on it! At least I got to use it to make a muslin for the jacket.

This was my second time purchasing these. I LOVE them so much! My husband and I both get hot when sleeping, so we like that these are thin. Our dog has torn a few holes in them jumping up onto the bed. I just use scraps to patch it and sew it in the same style they were made and it looks like it’s supposed to be that way. We have also used them for curtains in our bedroom and in our RV and to cover ugly RV furniture. I love the funky vibe they add. Yes, there is a strong smell when they arrive. After washing and drying them once, I could still smell it, but only faintly. Just airing them out a day got rid of it. And really, I didn’t find it to be an offensive smell... it smells like essential oils or incense to me. Out of the 20 or so of these I’ve purchased over the last year, there was only one that didn’t have at least one side that I really liked.

I didn’t like some of the patterns & colours of the fabric as you don’t get to choose so it’s a risk what you end up with. Was a bit disappointing with what I got.
