Great health and fitness tracker.
I got this in a black Friday sale and I love it. I've had this now for 3 months and it has given me lots of insights and information on my habits, work outs and sleep patterns. It's a great investment when trying to monitor and work on your wellness. Using the sizer to get the right size worked perfectly for me. I don't even notice it when sleeping. I charge it when showering, so I don't ever really have to worry about it running out of power. I have the silver one and have actually gotten compliments on how it looks

A great health tracker
I highly recommend getting an Oura Ring if you like keeping track of your health and I don't say it lightly. I am a Samsung girly and while I love all my Samsung stuff, I am disappointed with their Ring version. I went through 2 Samsung Rings before getting the Oura. Both Samsung rings had charging issues and stopped holding a charge. Now I have only had my Oura ring for almost a week, but I can already see that it tracks way better. The only thing I wish it could connect to is my Libre app for my Freestyle Libre 3 CGM. It does connect to Stelo by dexcom for those CGM users. I just hope that it could someday connect with Libre. Overall I am much happier.

Great for wellness and insight!!
The ring fits on my right pointer finger just fine. That finger, for whatever reason, is wider than my left finger but it still fits well. After sleeping through the night, it’s a bit more snug. The information the Öura Ring provides through the app is helpful as I’m an extremely light sleeper. It has helped me understand my sleeping patterns and has predicted my cycle perfectly twice now. It records exercise/activity better than my Gen 8 Apple Watch but I’m not really comparing the two too much. It does have some light scratches but that’s to be expected when wearing it all day. The battery is at 88% after a full days use and I typically charge it in the shower. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for health and wellness details for themselves as the Ring really does provide great detail.

Ask someone you know who might have one, get their take on it.
UPDATE: 3/16… I’ve noted that doing housework doesn’t note energy/calories burned. Unless you specifically note you were doing housework.? Meaning, my movements/activity weren’t registered as anything… if I go in and tag as housework, it increases activity & calories burned. I’m not finding any benefits from wearing this ring?!?! My apple watch picks up more info. I don’t think I’ve had it for 2 full weeks… but, sure it’s a scam. If you have to tell it you are doing a specific task for it to register the activity… something is wrong with it! First day, not impressed. I’m 73, I had a very active day, which tracked. By about 6-6:30, I’m sitting down, feet up, playing games, listening to TV or videos on my iPad. When I tire of games, I move on to jigsaw puzzles (on iPad). According to Oura, I went to bed at 8:14. (Went to bed at 12:30am). Said I was “in bed for 13+ hrs (again, went to bed at 12:30 am, gave up on sleep & got up about 7:17 am). I hate being in bed if I’m not asleep! During this “8:14” time in bed, I got up to get more water, went to bathroom at least 2, possibly 3 times and went downstairs to retrieve a late delivery, around 9pm. I asked about editing sleep time. Found out how to accomplish this. After making change, my sleep time increased to over 7 hours (was 6+) and time in bed went from 11 hrs + to 13 hrs +. This is not reliable info. So, far, I haven’t been able to edit anything else or add notes. It’s comfortable to wear, I think they could have added some style to the ring. The fit is good (had to put on left hand, right hand RA has large knuckles and much narrower at base of fingers, so fit was not snug. Will continue with it for a week or so, but, I need more accurate readings than I’ve had so far.

Love this ring.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this ring. It's changed the way I read information on my health. I love it. It's a great gift that I got for myself.

Sleep times in software needs improvement
Update: I increased my rating from 3 to 4 because the ring is very useful for modeling sleep architecture and giving me data to use when coming up with botanical stack adjustments, even with the odd notations of the app itself. The data tracks well in combination with my HRV data from the H10 using Kubios to analyze. Would be hard to do without the sleep data. Perhaps other tech would be good but the ring is easy to use while sleeping. ----------------------- Overall the technology is good and has useful data. The main issue for me is the app is not flexible enough and it is too basic. I work nights and got it so I could work better with my AI systems to help with sleep stacks. I was a research toxicologist for 20 years so am used to working with a lot of data. I did tell it I worked nights but it doesn't seem to use that information. It seems to do a pretty good tracking sleep itself but the app annoys me with responses that say I should be winding down for bed when I am going to work. A manual set sleep time is a must for something like this that tracks sleep. You could also then change it when you have vacation and so circadian shifting. Night workers need it if using this 24/7. It will probably learn way down the line but might be too late for people paying a monthly subscription. Would make more sense if it was a one time app charge since the ring is not cheap. For a subscription monthly, the app should have a lot more adjustments and show more actual data points. I will likely just use it for my sleep periods. I have Strava, Specialized Levo 4 apps and other things like HRV apps that work for the other issues. I train a lot and they do a lot more for health outside of sleep. At least the app is simple enough to easily figure out. I would still purchase for the sleep parameters and the ease of use wearing while sleeping. Tech is very good in the ring.

Niet slecht, een goede aanvulling bij mijn iwatch

Doesn’t track steps accurately, doesn’t log sleep properly either. Went for a 95 minute walk yesterday, Apple Watch tracked 11000 steps, oura ring only tracked 2000, you need to manually swing your arm when walking or it doesn’t log the steps, which means if your pushing a pushchair or have your hands in your pocket or typing/talking on your phone, it won’t register your walk, which is ridiculous in 2026 for something so pricey, constantly having to think having your arms swinging by your side. I was up from 12.30am until 3.30pm last night with a crying baby, once again the apple watches picked this up and logged 3hrs 25minutes wake time, the oura however said 2hrs and a ‘good nights rest’, isn’t accurate at all and would stick with an Apple Watch if you want the most accurate results, I bought this as I got fed up of the daily charging of my watch but the ring is no use if it isn’t anywhere near accurate.

Does the job but the app is so confusing. There's too much information on it which may be good for some people but i just want it to track my sleep and whilst it does a good job, it's not easy to find the information on the app. Definitely get the ring sizer. mine fits perfect but i weigh 50kg, didn't think i would need a ring this big.

After 6m of using it, i could notice a decrease in battery performance. Comparing with Gen3, the battery health lasts less on a long run. I had Gen3 for more than 1 year until switching to Gen4, and the battery lasted around 5days. On Gen4 they advertised that battery would lasts approximately 7days. Now, barely lasts up to 4days.
