However, when I tried to use the device, several functions didn’t work properly or wouldn’t even open. I contacted Launch technical support in the United States, and they informed me that this model is not designed for the U.S. market—it’s an “overseas” version intended for other continents. This important detail was never disclosed in the product listing at the time of purchase. What’s most frustrating is that, despite being just over a month old, the device still hasn’t worked as it should. I haven’t been able to use it on any vehicle. It’s very concerning that such a product is being sold on Amazon without any clear warning about regional restrictions. I strongly recommend exercising caution before purchasing this item and making sure it’s compatible with your country.

I've used a few scan tools over the years, but this Launch x431 immo plus is really impressive. Compared to other similar scanners, it offers truly comprehensive features for its price. The key programming function worked flawlessly. I was a little nervous doing it myself, but the tool provided step-by-step guidance throughout the process, with clear instructions. well made code scanning reader and programmer, it works way better than the standard version, worthy for what it paid for. The processor is quick and reliable. The connection is stable enough too.

Very Disappointed. I've used a LAUNCH X431 V+ PRO 4.0 2022 Elite Scan Tool for the last 2 years. I capture my reports on the unit and then upload them to my Google Drive account thru the app. This unit will not let me install any apps on it. It appears to be locked. I reached out to the seller and they were very friendly but no help. I thought about returning it, but I used AMEX rewards points to purchase it. I decided to keep it, but I am very disappointed that an expensive scan tool and IMMO device will not let me install software on it from the Google Play Store. Update (02.09.2026) - Went out to use this evening and now it's saying it needs to be registered again. It was registered after I bought it. So I walk inside my house to get the serial number and registration code. Enter it and it tells me it already been used I attempted a chat with support but they are on holiday until 02.28.2026. This is so frustrating.

It's a great immo scanner, I'm still checking it up but so far is a good tool. After I finish a couple of cars with this tool I'll update my review. As an update, I did a Siemens ecu coding and it was smooth... I recommend this scanner. Easy to use.
