I was building a medium budget pc and this motherboard was a great fit for a reasonable price. Great quality, spacing between components was not an issue. I have had for about 5 months and haven't had any issues with the motherboard. It handles gaming well, temperature holds well with my setup, even with some modern games. I like the lighting options, while it is not essential, but it gives it a nice look. It has handled all updates, gaming, downloads, streaming with no problem or issues, great performance. This is a great value if you are a building a mid budget pc.

Great mother board even includes BT but id consider upgrading the BT asap and for price it runs great

I chose this board for specific features, namely the 6 SATA ports. The first mobo would not work. It powered up, but there was no video ( using a discrete video card). After extensive troubleshooting, I had the board replaced by Amazon (thankfully an easy process). The second board has worked well. There are plenty of slots, and components are not cramped together. A good board for a budget build.

Great for a budget build, paired it with a Ryzen 5 5600GT, 16 GB Corsair Vengence DDR 4 3200, Crucial P3 Plus 1TB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, Corsair 650 W power supply, and an old case I had sitting around that had a DVD burner in it, total cost under very low. Not as fast as my Ryzen 7 7700X machine but plenty fast for everyone except an avid gamer. First thing I ran into was the back plate that covers the USB and other ports was wrong, so couldn't use the USB flash port (already had the board installed when I noticed this, didn't feel like taking it out again so had to update the bios using Windows 10, Windows 11 didn't recognize the CPU, their flash utility didn't work so loaded Windows 10 first, used it to update the BIOS in Windows, then upgraded to Windows 11. Maybe not the best way to do it but it worked for me (having a Microsoft account was able to install Windows 10 then upgrading to Windows 11 with no problem.) With the stock wraith cooler temp sits at 40 degrees Celsius, well within specs. I've built several computers using AMD processors and Asus motherboards, never had a problem with either one. After you update the BIOS use the Armoury Crate software from AMD to update all the drivers including the wireless drivers and all will go smooth. Really the only con is needing to update the BIOS but don't really consider it a con.

My son's computer we got him less than a year ago had one of these motherboards in it. One day, it suddenly stopped working. The computer turned on but no display or connections (like USB) worked. We troubleshot the problem down to the motherboard having failed. Found this replacement on Amazon and swapped it out. That was SIX WEEKS AGO and now his computer is doing the same thing, i.e. motherboard dead again. The warranty would cover a replacement but you have to pay for shipping, then wait for them to get back to you, and best case scenario you end up with the same trash model of motherboard which will fail again eventually. I really wish I'd read the reviews more before just blindly buying the replacement. Had i seen all the comments about lifespan and defective issues, I'd have just gotten a different one... Really angry I'm just out $100.

Bought this to replace my kids dead mobo, worked flawlessly and was pretty easy to connect all the parts to. Everything was labelled well and easy enough to find where each pin goes. Plenty of clearance to for his big CPU cooler and was just enough for dual slot ram clearance. I like that the board has tons of USB 3.1 ports and USB C as well.

If anyone is wondering about compatibility with R5 5500, I received my board 12/15/25 and it worked without issues. Perhaps I just got lucky. Board was manufactured in 2024. Very happy with it! Easy to install and lots of cool bios features.

Worked out of the box with my new Ryzen 5500, RTX 5050, and SSD with Windows 11 installed. Even had an option in the BIOS for Resizable Bar. Manufacturing date on the box said April 2025. Everything is working well! Couldn't boot at first but my RAM just wasn't fully seated. Also was having problems connecting to bluetooth headphones until I realized that the included WiFi adapter is also the bluetooth adapter and must be installed. Also be aware that if you are installing the basic stock AMD cooler, you will need to hold the backplate in place as it most likely will fall off the back after unscrewing the pre-installed stands for higher-end coolers. And as far as I can tell, there are no debug leds on this motherboard. But I maybe I just missed them.
