Khadas Mind 2 (32GB)
Solid and quality build. Looks terrific! I had occasion to contact after sales service. Rosie and team provided an excellent service (sorting out a glitch caused by third party software). Works extremely well in my office set up - two large screens, lots of peripherals - handles all with aplomb. Easy to set up (I use mine with the Khadas Mind Graphic). Good value. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service
I had an issue with my initial Khadas Mind unit overheating, but the Khadas support team was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They guided me step-by-step through the return, offered a free upgrade, and ensured everything went smoothly until I received the replacement. Outstanding customer service and a company that truly stands behind its product and customer experience!

everything is good but...
After upgrading the operating system to Windows 11 Pro, it began to work stably, but when copying large files, it still sometimes freezes with error 0x80070079

compact but powerful
This mini PC is one of the most compact and convenient devices I have ever worked with. It weighs just over 400 grams, but in terms of performance it easily copes with heavy tasks thanks to a 16-core processor and 32 GB of fast RAM. I was very pleased with the build quality - the metal case is thin, but feels durable and reliable. It works quietly, almost does not heat up, and is perfect for both work tasks and for video editing or light games. The graphics are very smooth, the image on the 4K monitor looks clear and rich. There are enough interfaces: there is USB4, HDMI and even a slot for an additional SSD, which is easy to open thanks to the magnetic cover. The device quickly wakes up from sleep mode and saves all data thanks to the built-in battery. Compactness, versatility and high performance make this PC an excellent choice for those who value mobility without compromise.

Very disappointed.
It should be an excellent computer, I bought that because I work editing videos, but it doesn’t charge 100%, maximum was 82%. And I had another issues as well, I’ve attached a video to show one of issues that I had. Unfortunately I needed to return. Now I am waiting for getting my money back to buy a different one.

Son loves it.
I’m not a tech head or a gadget queen, so you are not going to get the most tech spec review. Initially I ordered this due to its compact size and easy storage benefits whilst using at home. However my teenage son was most excited on its arrival and has now claimed it. It’s ideal for him as he travels/resides at both family homes due to parental separation. It’s easy to transport and can be easily moved when he wants to use his gaming console instead. It was easy to set up and has everything you would expect from a standard size tower. My son uses it for his school work but also gaming. He has had no issues with running apex legends or Minecraft for numerous hours. The graphics are stable and the box remains at a safe temperature. It’s fast and the wifi connectivity is great. He’s absolutely made up with. We’ve had it a week before reviewing to troubleshoot any potential issues. We found none for what we are using it for, however due to the cost, if we encounter any issues on further usage I will update the review. Definitely, a great alternative to a laptop and performs just as well as a tower P.C.

The Khadas Mind has completely changed my mobile computing experience in such a meaningful way that I have to share. First off, I have to confess that I'm a bit of a geek, unashamedly so. If you care what other people think, my use case might not be a great fit for you, but read on anyway, because there are other options that don't involve sitting in an airport with a pair of VR glasses on and a keyboard in your lap. I travel for work, not as often as I used to, but still enough that I absolutely require a mobile PC. I also despise using laptops while traveling. Hunching over a tiny screen and keyboard in a meeting is bad for my neck and shoulders, and forget trying to work, play a game, or watch a movie on the flight. As soon as the yoyo in front of me reclines their seat, my screen is forced to an angle that makes it unusable. So a while back I thought to solve the flight problem by buying a pair of VR glasses. I'm not talking about the big, bulky VR systems like the Meta Quest, but rather the compact Viture or XReal glasses. They're not really great for 3D purposes, but they put a giant screen right in front of your eyes and are really comfortable for longer-term use. At first I was connecting them to my phone for movies and not really using them for work, but I knew I had to try them with a PC. I tried them at home with a laptop, and they were great. So then I asked myself, "Why should I bother with a whole laptop? Why not have a Raspberry Pi or something that's compact and portable?" Well, the simple answer to the Raspberry Pi question is that there are some applications that I absolutely have to have for work that are Windows-only. So, I tried a "hybrid" approach, using the Raspberry Pi for movies and some games, and still lugging around my tank of a laptop for work. I hated it. Then I learned about the Khadas Mind. A full-fledged Windows PC with more processing power, memory, and hard drive space than my laptop, in a form factor about the size of two decks of cards next to each other. More than that, there's a dock option where you can conveniently hook it up at home. It has DisplayPort over USB-C, so I can connect it directly to my glasses, and it's powered by USB-PD, so I can use my mobile power bank to run it when outlets are scarce. Needless to say, I was absolutely hooked on the idea. Khadas is not a big company, like Dell or HP, so I was a little leery about spending this much money on an unknown, but I took the plunge anyway and have been absolutely thrilled with it since. I also bought a Mind Dock for at home, expanding my I/O ports a bit, but more important for me, making it a snap to just grab the computer and go when I need to pack my bag for a trip. So now, instead of a laptop with a dedicated charger in my bag, I have my Khadas Mind in its leather case, my VR glasses, single charger that has ports that will power my Khadas Mind, charge my Kindle, phone, headphones, and watch, and still has a couple of USB ports left over, and a 65% form factor keyboard and a mouse. It doesn't set up quite as quickly as a laptop, but once it is I'm remarkably more comfortable using it, especially for longer working sessions. I also have a wireless mini keyboard/mouse that I use on flights to navigate to movies and play games, and a Bluetooth controller for games as well. My backpack is significantly lighter, in fact I'll be switching to a smaller bag that will be easier on my back and shoulders, and my neck no longer hurts from crouching over a laptop like a caveman. I do get some funny looks using the glasses, so like I said, my use case might not be for everyone, but that doesn't mean the Khadas Mind isn't a great option for less geeky folks, too. Are you a hybrid worker that spends 3 days at home and 2 days in the office? This thing is PERFECT for that. Grab a couple of docks, put one at your office and one at home, and you'll be using the same PC at home and at work. Because it's so compact, you can just drop it in a purse or small sling bag for your commute. I'm hoping Khadas will continue to expand and improve on the Mind lineup. The I/O port on the bottom that the dock uses opens up all kinds of possibilities, like a battery backpack for mobile use or additional storage via an NVMe array (both ideas I'd love to see them build!). They're already heading down that road, with an optional dock that includes an RTX 4060 graphics card for people who want to do more intense gaming. I'd also like to share my support experience. Several months after I bought this computer it developed an issue where the system would blue screen frequently. After some conversations with the support team over e-mail, they have determined that the root cause is likely a hardware defect, and they are sending DHL to pick up the device so they can do troubleshooting in-house. The communication with the support team has been stellar. This further increases my likelihood of buying more products from them in the future!

I've been through decades of tech, from Olivetti typewriters to high-end business laptops. Recently my wife and I were considering expensive laptop replacements when I discovered mini-PCs. Most were uninspiring bricks, but then I saw the Khadas Mind 2. WOW! The brilliant design caught my eye, and the unanimously positive reviews convinced me - this one’s different. We manage, research and create - heavy users of MS Office, Adobe CC, Affinity suite, music software (Finale, Ableton) plus all the usual productivity apps. We travel frequently and need reliable, portable computing power. The Mind 2 and Mind Dock offer all that in spades. We're not gamers, so don’t need the Graphics Dock. Design Excellence: Finally, someone understands that tech can look as good as it performs. These machines are beautifully engineered aluminium ingots, not plastic bricks. Performance: Mind 2 handles everything we throw at it instantly - complex Adobe work, multiple apps, music production. No hesitation, no fuss. Cooling: Runs impressively cool. I added a KLIM Tempest cooler for peace of mind, but it's rarely needed. Connectivity: Every peripheral we own connects seamlessly - monitors, printers, scanners, audio gear - some dating back years. Zero compatibility issues. Setup: Possibly the quickest, easiest setup I've ever experienced. Kudos Khadas Modular System: The Mind Dock adds all the ports you need, plus surprisingly good built-in speakers. Sound quality is remarkable for the size. Portability Game-Changer: This is where it gets interesting. I can carry the Mind 2 with a portable monitor, wireless keyboard/mouse and power bank in a small sling bag. My wife commutes between country home and city office - she'll have Mind Docks at both locations and carry just the tiny Mind 2. It's redefining how we think about mobile computing. Real-World Use: After two months of continuous use this little machine has stolen our hearts. It even handles Windows 365 cloud computing flawlessly, something that's been problematic with other devices. We're so convinced we're buying another Mind 2 and two additional docks. Addressing Common Criticisms: Fixed RAM? It's meant to be portable - of course the RAM’s soldered down. Limited storage upgrades? It's TINY. That's the point. Easy enough to add external storage. Proprietary ecosystem? Good! Ensures everything works together perfectly. Expensive? Premium design and engineering cost money. Worth every Euro for what you get. Bottom Line: It’s not just another mini-PC - it's a glimpse into the future of computing. The modular ecosystem, exceptional build quality and thoughtful design make it stand out from the crowd. If you want something that performs brilliantly while looking elegant on your desk (or in your bag) this is it. Absolutely go buy it. Get the model and dock that suit you. You won't regret it.
