Learn Spanish: 8 Books in 1 Bundle

I have always wanted to learn Spanish ever since I watched Money Heist. Weird, I know. But, hear me out! The characters in this series made the language sound so effective and passionate. Plus, I'm visiting a friend in Spain about a month from now. I wanted to surprise her with a decent Spanish conversation when I arrived. It's a good thing I got this book to help me out. First of all, let's talk about the structure and layout. Each section in this book has adequate spacing and great fonts. I don't think many people appreciate these tiny things, but I do! I think they either make or break a person's reading experience. That's what makes it important. Moreover, the content? *chef's kiss* It has everything a beginner like me needs. There's a separate section for grammar principles, and everyday Spanish, as well as some interactive elements to keep readers engaged. I also love that the book also has a section regarding the differences between European and South American Spanish. I didn't know there was! I thought they were all the same. That section was a really good read. Enjoyed every second of it. And those complementary bonuses—wow! This is the first time I found a language book that offers so much value in just a single purchase. I was also surprised to receive lots of complimentary bonuses. I mean, a whole audiobook version is incredible already. But, those eBooks, flashcards, practice worksheets, and audio guides were such a steal! I'm not even yet finished going through all of them. I also saw that there was a video course. I'm excited to try that one out when I'm finished with the book. In addition, I'm glad to know that the book included pronunciation audio guides. Thank GOD. See, the last thing I want is to know how to speak Spanish, but fail terribly on the proper pronunciation. I want to blend in as much as possible. Anyway, I'm currently tracking my progress with the book's 30-day study plan. I'm committed to learning and speaking Spanish by the end of this study plan, but I also don't want to pressure myself. I want my learning experience to be as enjoyable as possible. I suggest you do too. You can do it! I wish us luck on our Spanish learning journeys. And if it's not yet obvious, I highly recommend this book. The content covers lots of topics but was written into 15-minute chunks. This book is easy to follow and helpful for people looking too dig a little deeper into the Spanish language

I normally don’t leave reviews but this book is amazing for learning Spanish. I took Spanish 1 & 2 in high school about 20 years ago so I wanted something to start with the basic foundation and this book had just that. It’s well organized and it helps me a lot.

This workbook is a comprehensive review of your current knowledge or to further your effective use of Spanish conversation. My goal in learning Spanish is to converse in basic Spanish with the neighbors down the street, someone standing in line with me at the grocery store, parents at a PTA meeting. This book has afforded an organized and effective way to start learning Spanish and I can see that further knowledge will be available as I move through the book.

Good book for beginners, very clear

This book is a manual full of notions for learning Spanish. It is a complete book. In my opinion it is a well-made book as it starts right from the ABC. It is suitable for anyone who wants to approach this language for the first time. After each explanation there are various exercises to do and this certainly helps learning and to fix the concepts. Furthermore, the text is full of practical examples which are also very useful. The various topics are explained in a simple but at the same time very exhaustive way. It is full of useful phrases to be used in everyday life. The phrases are translated from Spanish to Italian. It is full of tables in order to stimulate visual memory. At the end of each chapter, we find phrases or texts useful for practicing automatic/mechanical translation.

I just brought the book but it looks like a very through, so I will be looking forward to trying it out

The logical progression of the book and simple explanation of grammar makes it easy to follow. However, the practices use words and phrases (often difficult) that you have not been introduced to yet. You would think that there would be some explanation or English translation to these phrases, but no. The answers at the back of the book do not help either, as they do not explain the WHY for the correct answers. It's like learning how to swim in a kiddie pool but once it's time to actually swim you are thrown into the ocean! As a result you are forced to look up the translation online yourself, which to me defeats the whole purpose of this book. Aside from this there are many errors along the way, including a full paragraph in Spanish on Indefinite Adjectives (see picture). And don't bother downloading the "bonus material". Really not worth it.

parfait! J'ai appris l'espagnol il y a quelques années et je voulais rafraîchir mes souvenirs. Ce livre est parfait pour reprendre les bases. Il est léger, et plutôt petit donc très facile a transporter pour pouvoir travailler n'importe où. Je pense commander l'autre tome pour approfondir la grammaire par la suite.
