BEST TASTING CHOCOLATE EVER!
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS DARK CHOCOLATE! I WON’T BUY ANYTHING BUT THIS BRAND FROM NOW ON! EWG.ORG (ENVIRONMENTAL WORK GROUP) SAYS THIS CHOCOLATE IS THE LOWEST IN METALS; BARELY HAS ANY. IT’S THE HEALTHIEST! IT EVEN COMES WRAPPED IN COOLING AIDS. THIS COMPANY CARES ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS AND ITS PRODUCTS. SO HAPPY I FOUND THEM! SO HAPPY THEY LIST ON AMAZON. BUY 2 BOXES AND I BELIEVE DELIVERY IS FREE.

Yummy chocolate for your tummy and heart
I bought Mast chocolate because it has the least amount of heavy metals out of all the chocolates I read about online. I had quit eating chocolate 2 years ago because of the heavy metals in them, so I was so happy find a brand that was trying to keep the metals very low. I eat dark chocolate because it is good for your HDL levels. I would recommend this brand to everyone interested in their health. One more reason why I like this brand is because my grandmother's maiden name was Mast; it is an Amish name and there are not many Masts in the U.S., so the two brothers that own this company might be some of my Amish relatives !

Mast Dark Chocolate is the best.
I would eat an entire Mast bar a day and feel completely great. I tried doing the same thing with Ghirardelli 72% dark chocolate, and I felt nauseous and had a bad headache. I can only attribute that to Mast having really low heavy metals in their cocoa and Ghirardelli having a lot more heavy metals... I'm only eating Mast dark chocolate from now on... I don't care if it's more expensive, it's worth every penny. Don't listen to google ai saying that Ghirardelli 72% has less heavy metals than the conventional chocolate bar. After eating Ghirardelli 72% it made me feel like crap, Mast bars actually made me feel good and gave me a sense of well being. Trust your gut.

Bought for low lead and cadmium but not worth it, weird fruity taste
I recently started to take seriously that many brands of chocolate have high levels of lead and cadmium, particularly dark chocolate. Because Mast was tested to have the lowest in these heavy metals, I ordered a box. Mind you, I love, love, love dark chocolate- Ghirardelli, Altered, Endangered Species, Equal Exchange, Laderach- you name it, I love it. 70%, 85% cocoa, LOVE IT. Except, I didn't love Mast chocolate. After trying it, I decided if Mast were the only chocolate available, I would just simply not eat chocolate. I disliked it that much. It's just got a weird fruity taste, not a chocolatey taste. So sad. I wanted so much to love it.

Not Bad & Overpriced
It may be one of the "safest" chocolates offered on AMZ but it certainly is not the smoothest or most delicious. It is grainy and has notes of berries. It's not bad and I do like it, but the insane hype around it has surged its demand and its price. $$$

Delicious and SAFE
The not always true phrase, "You get what you pay for" certainly DOES apply here... the safest lead and cadmium levels by far in just about any chocolate, and absolutely delicious. Makes me think I have never tasted uncontaminated chocolate before ! The major chocolatier companies make many of their products from different cacao beans from disparate sources, which renders, from soil and processing, etc., organic or not, some coincidentally safer and some less so. So THANK YOU MAST, because I love chocolate !
