Too long to set up
The bit does indeed work, but the set up time to get it exactly where it needs to be is absolutely atrocious. It would of been nice to have a set up piece that came along with this. I have to purchase additionally if I intend to take full advantage. Otherwise it seems like a decent bit, but can't put it through it's paces to really see how well it performs.

FANTASTIC BUY FOR ME...
MADE IT SO EASY TO BUILD CABINETS FOR MY WORKSHOP... RAN THE WOOD THROUGH AND INSTANTLY MADE CORNER JOINTS THAT HAD NO GIVE AND WAS SOLID... A GREAT BUY FOR ANYONE WITH BUILDING PROJECTS THAT NEED JOINTS THAT DO NOT FAIL...

Product results and tips
This product is unique, does work well, product works well with maple and cherry, does not like pine...don’t even try. After few adjustments was ready to go, here are some tips, use table router only, when doing vertical cut use a vertical router jig for perfect results each time, cherry wood not cheap, now could see this working well with pine if you had a router table mounted router with variable speed, if on low speed pine is okay, wouldn’t recommend for handheld even with a edge guide

Great quality for the price!
This bit works exactly as expected and saved my rear during a remodeling project. I used it to miter LVP around stairs as the stair nose system that came with the product was absolutely ugly. Basically this bit survived around 40 runs thru pressboard which is much harder than wood. I was really impressed! After those many runs with a hard material I would have expected to have to order another bit but nope! Still as sharp as when I bought it! Highly recommended!!

soft wood only.
Worked on soft wood, pine but could not handle maple, just not sharp enough.

Definitely not for the novice.
I use miter joints pretty often, so I was greatly encouraged at the idea of doubling the amount of glue surface it such a weak joint. Unfortunately I have used a router very little, and a router table not at all. This is not a cut for a novice, there is too much going on at the same time. It does make the cut though, I cannot knock it any stars because it does do what it is supposed to. I hope to be able to use it effectively in the future.

box bit
I do woodworking as a hobby and the bit worked wonderfully. It would have been useful if there was instruction for setup, but I have never received any instruction for setup with all my bits so this was nothing unusual. It was a great value and left a good cut, I would purchase again.

Unbalanced - wobble vibration loosens router depth adjustment so crooked cut
The bit seems to be not balanced very well, so it wobbles as it spins. It stays tight in the collet; just wobbles around its shaft since the bit itself is not balanced. The vibration from the wobbling bit causes the thumb screw on my Porter cable router to loosen (the one that keeps the router and base at the depth you have set). The result is the router slowly drops deeper into the table, taking the bit with it, so the cut veers off from straight. I even tried tightening the thumb screw with a pair of channel locks, but the vibration from the unbalanced bit managed to work it loose. I went with the 1/2" shank one since it appears that the 1/4" one has some issues with the shaft bending per other reviews. I am wondering if the 1/4" ones also have the unbalanced issue and that causes them to walk through the workpiece and then bend? In any event, I would not recommend this bit even with 1/2" shank. Going to spend the money for a Freud bit...

It takes a few pieces of practise wood to adjust to proper cutting to match pieces properly. It would work better with its size to have four cutter edges instead of two which work OK. Problem with two is that plywood tends to break up quicker since there are only two cutter surfaces; therefore plywood layers fragment quickly. running slower starts wood burning. Over all a great idea.

Does seem to burnout quick if you are using hardwood. Otherwise it did as well as I expected.
