Not as small as I’d hoped, but still very cute. When the original item is already pretty small, miniaturizing it is a bit less dramatic. But I love it and it’s definitely a lot smaller than a regular giga!

This was actually a great purchase ~ sort of a gamble, but I wanted the dog pet and I received one. I didn't request it, but just hoped like a blind bag (I'd have been cool with the kitty as well, but really wanted the dog) I collect electronic pets and hadn't gotten to this one yet. I figured it would be like the Tama minis, but it's actually better than those in terms of functioning as a pet. It's an actual Giga. Not just in name, but in play too! Iykyk, but if not pretty much all Gigapets play the same way with the same basic functions it's just the sprites that change. The pet has a chart for food, discipline, health, happiness, years, days, and your overall score. You have a food/treat option, sleep option, play option, doc option, cleaning option, score option, training, and discipline and the call icon as normal Gigapets do. There are 2 games - with the dog it is fetch/chase ball and the other is Frisbee catch. The training is only 1 trick (running through a hoop for the dog) and otherwise everything else is straight forward Gigapet. Overall~ super happy with this pet! It's the size of a Tama mini, but functions at least in some semblance to a full sized Gigapet and not some facsimile used as just an accessory as it seems the Tama mini was. The play is limited, but as an adult I find it to be just enough- not toooo needy every second, but also.... not weirdly too boring or too limited as the Tama minis? It might come down to how Gigas play with math and cause and effect dynamics- playing with your dog will make your dog hungry and slightly dirty, but his happiness will be higher; while if you give him a bath, his happiness might go down, but his health will increase- so part of the game is finding balance.

It’s tiny, it’s adorable and it really works. I love this! I ended up with the kitty, which was a wonderful surprise.

They made these very small, definitely much smaller than I remember as a kid. It's not much fun to play with and not worth the money

It’s very cute and it works as advertised, but man, is this thing needy. It is constantly beeping at me and flashing every icon. No matter how many times I feed it, play with it, etc, it wants more! I bought this for my kiddo, but he’s a little young to really understand how to play with it, so I feel compelled to take care of it, but it’s annoying. It started beeping incessantly at 1am and I had to hide it in the basement so I could sleep!
