Floradix Liquid Iron and Vitamin Formula 250ml

(writing from my husband's Amazon account) I have been anemic since high school. Always get turned down to donate blood. I started taking this twice a day at the beginning of third trimester in my first pregnancy. My iron levels went from a 6 to an 11.5 sometime after my son was born (10 is the threshold for not being anemic). I don't remember how long that took, but I think I used two large bottles of Floradix. Three years later I got pregnant again while still nursing my first child. I was feeling tired all the time, even if I went to bed at 8. So I ordered this product again and I feel much better. The one tricky thing if you're pregnant is that Floradix should be taken on an empty stomach and then you wait 30 minutes to eat. I usually take it first thing in the morning and when it's time to make dinner. If I miss a dose (10ml) I take 15ml for the next two doses. It does taste like iron, with a hint of orange juice.

I have anemia and could not digest or absorb iron supplements. I was getting iron infusions because the iron supplements were making me constipated, but when Coronavirus shut everything down it wasn’t safe for me to get infusions in the same room cancer patients are receiving their chemo treatments. I didn’t want to be around anyone who is immuno-compremised. So I started taking Floradix. It is the only iron I can tolerate and doesn’t cause constipation. The best thing is that this company gets the iron from fruits and vegetables, making it more natural and not synthetic. You have to keep it refrigerated after you open it, it has a shelf life but a smaller bottle when taken everyday will last about 20 days. I will be honest, the liquid tastes like copper... or at least what you think copper would taste like and it WILL stain your teeth. I drink my shot through a straw to avoid having to whiten my teeth once a week. The company that makes this has other great products for digestion and I just found out that Floradix also makes a version that is yeast and gluten free. It is twice the cost but worth it if you have celiac disease or gluten intolerant. This is your best bet!

This is an excellent product to raise your iron levels quickly! It is a must use item before any surgeries because people with anemia or low iron levels can end up needing a blood transfusion if they lose to much blood during a surgery. I'm including the pictures because there is something important to note. A reviewer, Lika, gave the product ONE star and posted the two pics above and stated the version sold on Amazon was watered down. THIS IS NOT TRUE! There are multiple formulas of this Floradix product and one of the formulations contains yeast! The other does not! The formulation that contains yeast, also contains additional water. BOTH VERSIONS WORK and you need to make sure that you shake the bottle before use! The blend with yeast has more water, but the potency is what matters and it doesn't change the potency! No matter which version you get, they will BOTH work just the same! Floradix makes it in a yeast-free version for people who have reactions to yeast! Just pick the yeast-free version if you are allergic to yeast. EITHER VERSION will raise your iron levels and you should NOT be alarmed or worried if you get the version with yeast and more water or no yeast and less water! That reviewer didn't understand the reason for the difference and mistakenly thought more water in the formulation meant it is watered down and no good! This is NOT THE CASE! They are merely different variations with the exact same function and that reviewer didn't realize that!

This medicine is good to take no upset stomach or problem going to the bathroom plus a boost of energy . I will be order this one for good and the taste isn't bad 😋

Works excellent but expensive on Amazon- get it at your health store

I haven't taken it long enough to now if it will help my tiredness , friends that take it have only said good things about it.

I'm gravely anemic and have been taking this brand since I was little. I used to take the child version. Now I take the adult version religiously. Everytime I stop taking it I go back to feeling really tired and weak but as soon as I start taking this....WOW IT WORKS. Better than any other tablets I've taken.

I'm amazed that we can get it in India. Floradix iron is formulated to be absorbed quickly by our bodies. Years ago when my hemoglobin count was 6.5 and I was slated for surgery in 2 weeks. They refused to do the surgery unless the haemoglobin levels were normal. We did the research and came upon Floradix iron. It's expensive but well worth it. In two weeks my haemoglobin levels were normal and I could go in for the surgery. Ever since I have taken this for upping my iron levels. Works every time
