Great for fighting games on a budget.
Works great on my switch 2 with SF6 and on PS5, did have to buy a dongle thing to get it working with PS5, but same company provides the booster usb and that worked great and was easy to fit.

Good but missing a screw
The pad itself is great, button layout is comfortable and have a nice sound but the product arrived missing a screw, paying £70 for it I’d hope it be all together

Solid, durable, fun to play
Better than expected. If you do not make any moves in gamepad this is the item for you. 🤓

Solid hardware, woeful instructions
This is well made*, feels solid and while i'm not hardcore into fighting games, i do like a bit of casual button bashing! There is no driver needed within Windows, just plug & play and it acts like any other gaming controller. Once selected in the likes of MK10, Soulcalibur IV and Street Fighter 6 it was interesting to say the least. I'm not sure i'm personally a convert from an actual stick controller to pure buttons, but that's no fault of the hardware. Everything is responsive, feels good and the buttons are nicely positioned across the board. In ETS 2 i mapped a number of keys to it that are normally on my wheel and it was a nice quality of life upgrade. *The screws on the base are not countersunk into the surface and the heads protrude a reasonable amount. If you don't want scratched surfaces you have to apply the included feet. I've done that for now, but i'm tempted to mod this to eliminate the risk of something getting caught if a pad falls off. The display is very nice, although it seems to be a little bit of a novelty unless i'm missing something. The light show is really nice and not overly garish. The black surface is also really impressive, i was worried it'd be a fingerprint magnet, but it's incredibly resistant. I handled this a lot before taking the photos and i didn't have to wipe it down once, it's excellent. Where this is really disappointing is the instructions if you can call them that. It's a single mono print sheet of paper. The quality of the print is poor as is the actual content. For this price point i'd expect something that is nicely printed, in colour with decent diagrams and at the very least for it to be legible. That's not what you get and it makes this hard work to setup and use. Functional the controller itself is excellent, it takes some getting used to, but it works really well. A few things need improving before i'd recommend it though and it's genuinely a shame because the core hardware is solid.

This is not the R16, but the T16
This is not the R16, but the T16. There are minor differences between devices that could be a make or break for you. For example, the R16 has tighter spacing between buttons which puts your fingers closer together, this is more comfortable to me. The R16 also has more premium buttons. I'm going to be giving this one away. Please amend the listing so other people won't be disappointed!!

High quality but does take some getting used to for the son.
High quality but does take some getting used to for the son. Ordered this for the son as he does play with a cheaper version on his PS5. I don't have much experience myself with gaming consoles as i have never had an interest in them more a iMac person, so only going by my son's comments. This compared to the song cheap one is worlds apart on quality, this is such a quality bit of kit, the keys are super responsive and the layout is a lot more advanced that the one he has. what i did manage to find out is that this is a Haute 42, it is their cosmox range, there was a option on the website for a download update along with other support material, he has however found other web resources related to this product so has been looking at these since being given it. This is fully programmable and can even assign different colours to the keys, he does like the turbo function and the option to assign a 2 button move to just a single key. Size wise it is slightly bigger than a A4 sheet but is super thin and flat so a wide area to comfortably rest your palms while playing. from my point of view the only negative i have is with the instructions, these for a product like this or completely lacking within the kit, even the single sheet of paper looks like it was poorly photo copied. it is also to be noted that the black version of this has no button markings like the white one so you do need to remember which button is which, however i do now see you can get skins for this. In the son's opinion this is definitely well worth the current price of just shy of £66 and form my point of view would have expected this to be a whole lot more for the quality and functionality, i think he paid near £40 for his cheap one that is a ugly looking plastic one so definitely a premium product.

This thing is amazing - way more features than thought it would have. Top tier build quality, touch and feel is like a premium branded commercial gaming peripheral, but better. The onboard software lets you customise the behaviour of the buttons to suit your game and input preferences. It's not exactly idiot-proof levels of easy to use, but there's lots of tutorials around to make it easier. It also looks super cool on your desk and the little screen is a great touch. I'm playing 2XKO with it and it's fantastic. Absolutely recommend going stickless if you're using something else and give this one a really good consideration.

This is the first hitbox controller I’ve ever had, and the second time I’ve purchased it. The first one, unfortunately, didn’t survive after a losing streak and lasted approximately one year. Despite being a bit squeaky, it is really sturdy and durable. It feels a lot better than a gamepad. The stock switches seem okay, but I would recommend Kailh Shadow Hunting switches or other low-profile alternatives as replacements. They make it easier to put less pressure on the keys when holding block compared to the original ones. Overall, I think this controller is great and does everything that it is supposed to do.
