This is the 5th one of Nuwave Induction cooktops I have purchased. I love them. I have given 3 of them as presents, and the recipients all agreed that the unit works wonderfully. This unit has the ability to select the power requirements. That really helps out, especially if you have many electrical devices on the same circuit. It still cooks at the correct temperature, just might take a few seconds longer to reach the target temp. Maintains the temp just fine, using the lower power setting. I have an older house, and the circuits are kind of already close to the max units on them. With my older Nuwave , I had to be careful to and pay attention to what other devices I had plugged in, so I wouldn't trip the breaker. With this one I can lower the power requirement, and continue without disconnecting other appliances. Very useful. I cook the same way with this one as I did with my older one, which still works great, so I probably don't take advantage of the newer updated features that are in this new device. So I can't comment on the new advancements. I don't notice any difference in the noise level while cooking, I had read other reviews that made a complaint about the noise, but I can't hear any more now than I did with my older ones. As with the older units I have, they still look nice, apparently made with pretty good quality parts, still look and work great. Even the cooktop surface still looks good after being used everyday for years. Not much to cleaning them, just wipe them off. You can probably guess that I'm satisfied with them, I try to be very accurate with my description, and review, I see no reason not to be truthful in any review, good or bad.

This has been great in our motorhome. I use it when we have electric available and sometimes even with the generator as it heats up instantly and so only use it a short time. I love that it doesn't heat up the motorhome and it is quick like a microwave yet healthier since your food is not nuked. Really happy I have the larger size heating element works great with my 12" wok and larger pans.

gold vs titanium titanium is 1800w (gold is 1500w). this difference in power translates to different speeds at high cooking temps. titanium water boils in 2 minutes 30 seconds. gold takes 3 minutes 40 seconds. it may not be much difference if you're doing a stew or eggs. the titanium buttons have a click, tactile response. it makes for less errors. the gold touch buttons are not clicky--this sometimes causes me double press errors. but it can be gotten used to of course. i have been learning to enjoy the preset functions. i can adjust the low, medium, medium high, etc to different temps that match what i expect from my normal stoves. one big difference between the titaniun and the gold: the titanium has a probe thermometer with holder. this makes the device very excellent for thick cuts of meat, chocolate, and holding fry oil at 350F for deep frying. the programming is not intuitive but it does work well. the gold does not have the thermometer capability.

This is a great product. I love how fast it heats the pan so fast. I had bacon grease still in a skillet this morning so I turned it on to 300 and within 7 seconds I could see the grease melting and got to the correct temp quick. I use Hexclad cookware. Also when you cook and turn it off. The boiling or sizzle stops almost immediately. Such control! It cleaned so easy also. It was bigger than I thought and almost sent it back, but decided to keep it and I am thrilled that I did keep it! GET ONE!!!

I use this cooktop on a daily basis. I love how easy it is to use and store. It has a very durable finish that cleans so easily. It works perfectly with my induction cookware. I love the precise control of temperature and having the ability to even use a probe. I have a flattop range, but most days I only need one eye and I grab this out of a drawer instead of using the range. The portability is wonderful. I can move it to my island or anywhere on my counters that I am working. I would now be lost without it. The only surprise with this purchase is how I now go to it first.

This induction cooktop can be set for the desired temperature of your food and it will cook to that temp and hold it. No burning up! It does require true induction pots. So I put one heavy bottled pot on the cooktop that I was confident to be induction and a message showed up that screen that it did not recognize the pot. So it would not work on that one. I wonder if we might sign the pot up for a dating service to make the introduction? Well even the best device had limits. Bu they has LOTS of amazing qualities!

nothing to say,nice design,but unfortunately I wasn't convinced to keep it 😚 there was something I didn't like, power reduction ..when you set the maximum temperature, it lasts a few seconds .... I don't need it, I prefer the old gas stove system
