Donner DMK25 Pro Is A Pretty Good Controller For The Price
I actually give the Donner DMK25 Pro MIDI Keyboard Controller 4.5 stars. The Donner DMK25 Pro is a good value for the money because the setup from the front panel is easy and the owners manual is also easy to understand. There is also control editing software that you can download from the Donner website if you like working with a software editor. The pads and control wheels and sliders have a good feel and function well. The Pitch Bend and Modulation are "Ribbon Style" slide bars and are accurate and have a very smooth sliding action with indicator lights. I was able to just plug in the Donner DMK25 Controller to my computer and it was quickly recognized by Windows 10 and my Mixcraft 9 DAW software. I like the Donner DMK25 because it is easy to setup with the software or from front panel, but if you setup the pads and control knobs from the front panel you can only setup one pad at a time and save the setup. That one at a time method makes setup take a little longer but its not that bad over all. The other minor issue is that you can not hear the sounds that you assign to the pads in the edit mode from the front panel or editing software so you must use a Midi Drum Map or Sound Map to setup the pads. Please watch the video starting at time 13:27 to see how the setup works from the from panel. The Donner DMK25 Pro is still a very good value even with those two little design feature quibbles. I hope Donner will tweak the firmware to make the MK25 transmit midi note messages while in "Edit Mode". Please see the video for a demonstration of the features and editing functions. 4.5 Stars.

Fun Beginner MIDI Keyboard
As a beginner I was looking for something that would not break the bank. This was easy to set up with my computer and I was able to plug and play with GarageBand. Definitely a learning curve but a great choice for my experience level and would recommend.

Good luck with the set up
The endless loop of getting the software downloaded has bettered the taste of this product. Use the QR code to download an app that only show lessons?!? Oh, you want to play music? Use this QR code to get to a different site where we will give you a code that you will need once you get to this other website. Psych! That website doesn’t work, go back to the sconce website and start over. Oh by the way you need to keep setting up accounts at each of these sites so we can just keep selling your email address and information to more and more data brokers!

Great for music while traveling
Great product. Goes good with with the software. I used Logic Pro X and it’s good for taking it on the road. Get music done when you’re on the go makes it easier

Compact but not perfect
Update: the keys are pretty low quality. I've been using this almost everyday for a year, and I'm up to the 3rd key that has broken off. Thankfully I was able to take it apart and use some super glue and some clear packing tape to reattach them. The keys are not hinged. It's just a molded plastic and just like a plastic airplane model you bend back and forth to separate the pieces these keys can only bend so many times before they break. 1st off I'm not pro. I needed a small midi controller to start experimenting with music production for a YouTube channel. It has been very useful for this project. It does come with some lite versions of the Steinberg companies DAW and a couple other plug ins however the installation process is the most obnoxious process I've ever encountered installing any software in my 47 years of existence. You have to use the Steinberg download manager and license manager and it is an archaic system. You can literally download everything they sell( DAW, plugins, sample packs etc. it's like a half a TB of stuff, but you can only use a tiny fraction of it without the proper software license. The problem is you don't know what's free and what's not, so you end up having a bunch of crap you have to weed through to uninstall. It's a nightmare. Steinberg do better! As far as the keyboard itself. It's compact has a lot of functionality, any button or dial is programmable to what ever function inside your DAW. I've used it with Devin I Resolves Fairlight, and the Cubase LE14. While all the keyboard keys and drum pads are velocity sensitive the sensitivity curve seems off. It's seems you get good action and volume from a hard strike, but a slow strike is too quiet. It's a good starter midi keyboard and the software makes it a decent value, but I'll be looking for one with better action on the keys.
