She's still younger, but she hustles and works hard as a server at a busy restaurant so sometimes her hands ache but she still wants to knit and settle at home. She says these have really helped her enjoy knitting not just more, but also longer. Who am I to not love sometime that makes my wife happy? So 5 stars for me. Review: Works but a little slippery - I like the idea of these for my crochet hooks, but they kept sliding around and down. I put a little kinesio tape and that helps with the grip and keeps it on the hook

Great for adding ergonomics
Love them but need to add sizes to them as they aren’t labeled. They work great for those crochet hooks without ergonomics

fits snug and is comfortable to grip
My concern with a foam grip was that it would lets the hook slip out if I pulled too much, but as long as the hook size fits snug in the hole it doesn't seem to move at all. I did 30 minutes of testing and I really did find it more comfortable. We'll have to see how long they hold up to rigorous use, but so far I do like them quite a bit.

Kinda work? Very bad texture, though
These are so rough in the hand, and too stiff to be a good ergonomic grip for arthritis.

Great for various art tools
Full disclosure, I am not using these for crochet hooks. I got these because I've bought the grips that are meant for kids using paint brushes, and those ones are a little too big to put in pen bags. These are great: they come in various sizes so that I can put a thin paintbrush, or larger pen or pencil into another, and have a grip that fits the tool, and helps reduce carpel tunnel pain. Definitely recommended as a device for art tools accessibility.

Useful, but prone to slipping depending on hook size.
These are mostly fine, especially if you just need a bit bigger grip on a small hook. When working up something with loose tension, I had no problem, and the foam grip felt nice in my hand, easier to hold than a small hook, and as a bonus, it kept the hook from slipping between the couch cushions when I sat it down. When it came to working on something that needed tight tension (amigurumi worked yarn under), however, which is what I wanted these for most because I will grip too tight and hurt my hands sometimes with those things, I unfortunately found that these tended to slip. There is the option of going a size down in the handle for most hook sizes so that it is a more snug fit, but I don't want to stretch out the smallest size and make it not useful for my smallest hook. Overall, these will be fine for most people and are a decent way to make hooks you already have more comfortable to hold, unless you work really tight.
