Weleda Italia Baby&Kids Stella Alpina Sensitive Solar Cream (SPF 50) - 50 ml.

This is an expensive sun cream but well worth it. It is very thick but it goes a long way and lasts for ages. I've been using this on my child for over two years without any issues. I'm reluctant to use anything else.

Does the job. Just bare in mind this leaves white layer on the body.

Excellent for my daughter whose sensitive skin comes up in a dotty rash with all other suncreams

This product protects kids from the sun which is the main priority of course. However it doesn’t rub in especially well ( or at all 😂). Baby looks like she’s covered in emulsion paint but hasn’t got sunburnt, and it hasn’t upset her sensitive skin at all. Must be very water resistant as we had to scrub it off her skin with an oil based product! I would recommend it as it meets its primary objective but there may be better products out there.

It’s really hard to spread which is more difficult with constantly moving baby and my baby looks like ghost once covered with this cream.

Good product

Despite being one of the most eco-friendly product I could find on the market, I was disappointed to find that it leaves a purple sheen when I apply it, which means that it is specifically targeted for people with a lighter complexion. I would not recommended for people of colour, unless of course you want to look like a grape. Overall, disappointed but not surprised.

Es una crema de muy buena calidad, el unico problema es que es dificil de extender por el cuerpo del bebe, por lo demás perfecto.

Ottimo prodotto weleda. La texture è molto densa e non è fra le creme più facilmente spalmabili, però weleda offre sempre prodotti di ottima qualità. Inoltre, a differenza dei prodotti più commerciali, non ha le classiche profumazioni chimiche che trovo fastidiose. Quanto a protezione, l'ho trovata eccellente: una passata, salvo ritocchi per bagni molto prolungati, resiste praticamente tutta la giornata.

Purtroppo è densissimo, come una pasta dentrificia, e impegnativo da spalmare, ma è spettacolare come efficacia: non un lieve rossore, dopo ore in acqua, non un puntino di quelli da eritema o eczema a cui ci eravamo abituati ad ogni bella stagione, nonostante i millemila solari 50+ provati. Pro: la protezione dai raggi solari è garantita Contro: ha una consistenza così densa che non viene via neanche con la spugna sotto la doccia
