The spoiler itself is excellent—high-quality material, sturdy, and it looks great once installed. It fits the Tesla Model Y perfectly and adds a sleek touch to the car. The installation, however, could use some improvement. It took me about 20 minutes, but better instructions would’ve saved a lot of time. While I appreciated the included stickers for alignment, the instructions didn’t mention using the adhesive wipes, so I forgot to use them. Also, the instructions were in Chinese, which meant I had to translate them myself. The step where you cut the adhesive cover in the center could’ve been simplified with a pre-perforated line. Trying to do it myself stretched the tape and made it harder to manage. Additionally, there were no instructions on handling the adhesive on the sides, so I had to bend the spoiler back to access them after attaching the center—definitely not ideal. Despite these challenges, the final result looks fantastic. The sides stick out slightly, but it’s not a dealbreaker. With some minor adjustments to the installation process and instructions, this would be perfect. For the quality and appearance, it’s worth the effort. Highly recommend!

Not a good product. I have been happy with the other Basenor products. But this spoiler had blemishes in the finish. And does not adhere/conform to the edge of the hatch. Followed instructions to a tee, and prepped surface. Do not waste your time!

The item was damaged. There was a scratch on it. Also there was mo alignment stickers. Rather than stickers there were extra wipes. Update: the customer service contacted me to offer a new one. After sales support is really good!

Cet aileron est dédié exclusivement aux Tesla Model Y de 2020 à 2024. Il permet de transformer facilement l’apparence de la voiture et d’adopter le style de la version Performance. L’aileron noir mat est bien fini et s’adapte parfaitement à la forme du hayon arrière. La pose est bien pensée, même pour ceux qui n’ont pas l’habitude. Il suffit de positionner l’aileron à blanc pour repérer l’endroit exact, puis de coller les autocollants fournis en guise de repère. Le nettoyage de la surface est crucial : deux lingettes sont présentes pour bien préparer le support, garantissant une bonne tenue dans le temps. Ensuite, il faut commencer à retirer le scotch de fixation par le milieu, aligner l’aileron grâce aux repères, et appuyer fermement sur toute la longueur pour assurer un collage optimal. La doc est explicite avec des dessins, et une vidéo en ligne détaille les actions à mener. L’installation prend environ 10 à 15 minutes et change vraiment l’allure du véhicule. Le résultat donne à la Tesla un aspect plus dynamique et sportif. Je recommande ce produit sans hésiter, 5 étoiles.
