What I love most about it is how effortlessly it fits into real life. It’s not trying to turn brewing into a ceremony or overwhelm you with variables, it just delivers consistently good coffee with very little fuss. When I want something clean, balanced, and repeatable, it does exactly that. The versatility is where it really shines. It handles different grind sizes well. Whether I’m experimenting with grind settings or just want a reliable brew without thinking too hard, it adapts without complaint. Build quality is solid and purposeful. Nothing feels gimmicky. The immersion-style brewing combined with fast drawdown gives you clarity without thinness a cup that’s full-flavoured but never muddy. It’s forgiving enough for learning, but capable enough that it doesn’t feel like a compromise. Cleaning is simplicity, knock out the puck, rinse and dry all parts and that’s it. Most importantly, it removes friction. It makes it easier to brew good coffee more often, and that’s the real win. For anyone who wants excellent results without unnecessary complexity, the OXO Rapid Brewer earns its place on the counter.

Impressive wasn't sure what to expect from it but makes some great quality coffee. It's quick and easy to use, easy to clean too.

Great little brewer, packs down really nicely for travel

I like this coffee maker. The coffee is as nice if not nicer than that I made in the Aeropress. I give it 4 stars because having to use the clear plastic beaker that is provided is a bit annoying. If they put a small flange on the filter housing, like the Aeropress, the coffee could be dispensed directly into a mug.

Makes coffee as good or better than all the cafe's in my experience. There is a slight heat reduction with the 2 minutes steeping and cold milk drops it even more, and you need to wash three pieces between shots, use a fairly fresh water filter in your jug, and I semi clean the hand grinder also at the same time. Settings should be halfway between 1.9 and 3.4 on the grinder. Supermarket coffee with at least 14 months expiry date is it's chosen prey, you don't need specialist coffee unless on special occasions. Pre ground coffee would be fine, just check the expiry date on the side.

Love it. Daily coffee method now - replaced v60 and aeropress majority of the time.

全部やってくれるコーヒーメーカーは毎回洗って清潔に保つ、が出来なくて嫌なので、毎回丸洗い出来るのが魅力的でこちらを購入。 フィルター内蔵だけど、豆を捨てる時に容器にくっついて捨てにくく不便だったので、カリタの6ミリ丸型フィルターを購入し使用してます。 ジャストフィットだし、豆を捨てる時はひっくり返してトントンするだけでフィルターについた豆がボトッと落ちてくれるのでストレスフリーに。 水だと5分待ってから5回プッシュ 湯だと2分待ってから5回プッシュ 押すのは力とか必要なく、片手でススーーと押せます。 1回で2人分が出来ます。 濃縮タイプなので私は牛乳多めにして1：2にしてカフェオレにしてますが、充分濃いので満足。

The only issue I can see is many parts you assemble and manage for a single shot of coffee, but you get the delicious coffee of aeropress and ease of use and portability No need for a specific goseneck kettle or a scale with timer so it is ideal for travel

Makes great coffee! Works well. Would buy it again if I lost it. OXO makes good stuff.

Excellent brewer, allowed me to try different style of coffee other than pourover. In addition, if you are based in Singapore or Malaysia, you can make local coffee (kopi) using the local coffee powder that may be roasted with butter and sugar without using the coffee socks. Highly recommended and great for new to coffee user who wants very little equipment to kickstart this journey.
