The tape frequently jams during recording or rewinding, and sometimes even snaps, resulting in lost recordings and potential damage to the recorder's internal components.

Very discreet,clear and user friendly

Works well to record meetings and phone calls, even in a noisy background. It's very light and is no trouble to have in my pocket. It's also magnetic and will stick to the back of my phone or to anything metal. Good noise cancelling, I have no trouble transcribing words even if there's background noise. I like that it comes with its own playback earphones which are convenient to use on the go. You could even put music on it and listen to it, though the playback is really more optimized for talking than for music. Maybe a podcast or books on tape. It charges on a Type C connector which was included in the package and holds a charge for a long time. I recorded a whole day of work meetings and charged it in the car on the way home and it was fine. It does have a voice activated mode you can turn on by editing a file on the device if you want it to do sneaky recordings, but I haven't tried that. The instructions are clear and in English which is a big plus. I tried a few other more expensive devices that I thought were garbage, but I like this one.

I have had to buy several of these . They work good , easy to use but DO NOT LAST . Within months they just stop recording . Happened with everyone I bought.

The recorder itself works fine for basic voice recording, but it’s misleading to call it “magnetic” — it doesn’t stick to an iPhone or most phone cases. If you’re buying this for the magnetic feature, be aware it likely won’t work as expected. I returned that.
