Carhartt Women's Benson Denim Jacket

I love my wife in a blue jean jacket. I have purchased several and sent back because they were cut short for a 15 year old. This was the perfect length jacket for my wife and she loves it and looks great in it. Carhartt always makes quality jackets and this was just right.

I have a very large bust (38H UK size, 48" around) and I ordered the XXL, thinking it may not even fit. However, it was too big, in the chest and hip (mine measure 44"), lots of extra fabric waving around, so I returned it for the XL. That was, believe it or not, still very roomy, but just fine. Looks good with the snaps defining the waist and it dips a bit lower in the back. This is a great style, with all the details, super nice fabric with plenty of stretch and excellent workmanship. How I wish they had other colors, I'd buy more. I want a washed black color and I bet other people do too. Amazingly good price too. This is a great jacket. Buy it.

Amazing quality! 5'6" 190 lbs -- I usually wear a L/XL (12/14) in clothing. Ordered an XL in this jacket to ensure I had room underneath for sweaters and sweatshirts. It fits beautifully! Very flatter, easy to move in, and incredibly high quality. As mentioned in other reviews, it does have a scent to it, but I find it incredibly pretty! Assuming they do this because denim can sometimes have a chemical smell after it's dyed; would much rather smell the pretty floral smell than chemicals :) 5 Stars -- would recommend!

This is the perfect denim jacket, I will never need another one. It fits perfectly, I can move around in it. Sturdy construction. Carhartt never let's me down. Usable pockets on the outside, and two large ones on the inside. Buy it! I will donate my old jean jackets that are not Carhartt.

It’s in the middle of summer here in Rhode Island, as hot as it gets here- and I’m constantly looking for an excuse to wear this jacket! “Well maybe they’ll have air conditioning.” “The temperature could drop tonight.” Why? Because I absolutely love this jacket!The fit is as expected from a denim jacket and I’ll say- mine fits great at my normal size.This jackets looks awesome! I love the coloring on the sleeve cuff- so much better in person than the picture. The quality lives up to the Carhartt name. I can’t wait till it cools down because it’ll be my most worn item of fall this year. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a classic western wear jacket, I have ordered 3 different but still similar brands and styles to pick one. This is my choice, I love the fit, square at the shoulders, different pockets, the tabs on the side give you little waste line. Very Feminine look. I have ordered XL, i am 5'6" and weigh 185.BUT, what is wrong with that perfumed dye SMELL???? it is so strong, you can smell it in my whole closet.First I thought it is not that unpleasant, but now kind of overpowers everything. I have not washed it yet, some other reviewers are stating that the laundry does not help. I don't know if I will send it back and order from different retailer or not (someone suggested that as well).

I’ve been looking for a Jean jacket for a while and am happy to report that my search is finally over!!This jacket is not only comfy, has the perfect amount of stretch but is also a cool design. I love how the cuffs are lined and how the jacket is slightly tapered at waist.Ordered the 2xl and it’s a perfect fit.

I ordered both a small and medium. I would say I’m a small/medium in jackets, but usually a medium in tops. The small had a more fitted look that I could still easily button. However it’s loose in the shoulders so I didn’t like the overall look as much. The medium definitely felt oversized but I liked the look better. The tabs in the bag help to give some shape in the waist and really makes it look much less boxy the way most denim jackets seem to fit. I love the longer hem in the back too. I think it’s a great jacket to throw on over casual sweaters and leggings to run errands or whatever. I definitely won’t be wearing with dresses because of the oversized fit but I already have a fitted Paige denim jacket that serves that purpose. I think if you’re looking for a oversized fit of a denim jacket this is a fantastic choice. Those small details (side tabs and longer hem) really takes it to the next level!

This is the best Jean jacket I have owned. Proper pockets!! You can actually use the spacious exterior pockets, as well as having two large interior pockets. Length is perfect, most denim jackets are cropped to begin with and are way too short for my long torso. Very small amount of stretch, still feels like regular denim but just enough give to have unrestricted movement & can comfortably layer over a sweater. Jacket is functional, while keeping a nice tailored/feminine silhouette & isn't boxy. Very happy with this purchase, & will be wearing this jacket for decades. All other denim jackets with unusable pockets are thrift store bound.

I ordered the medium. My bust is 36B/C. I wear a size 10 in Dickie's. I need shoulder room and this gives it to me. Very comfortable. I love all the details. The side snaps to adjust the waist is great. I love how the back dips lower to cover that area for bending over, squatting. The pockets are perfect - inside pockets for phone or keys. Outside pockets perfectly placed. I love the contrasting fabric on the inside pockets and the turn back cuffs. My arms are longer, so I need the cuffs turned down, but I appreciate the added touch. I can see me wearing this a long, long time. Very pleased!

After reading the reviews, I was expecting this JJ to be very smelly, and it totally was not an issue, has a little perfume smell, but I love this jean jacket, just what I was looking for, and wow, great price. I am long waisted, and it was true to size, I would easily give this a 5/5 well done, love this jacket and would totally buy it again!

I love the pockets on this denim jacket. I usually wear a small and that is what I ordered. I personally don't like tight fitting jackets so I feel that the size Small is true to size. The adjustable tabs lets you adjust the fit. This size will allow me to layer a t-shirt and a flannel shirt underneath the jacket.. If I only wanted to wear a t-shirt with this jacket then I think I would have to go to an X-Small.

Nice jacket fits nice not boxy and yes it does smell hopefully a few washes it will disappear
