Not Ideal for True Surround Sound
Not Ideal for True Surround Sound I tried both HDMI ARC and this optical cable for 5.1 Dolby surround sound. HDMI ARC provides a much better surround experience. This optical cable feels more like 2.1, although the volume is louder. **Pros:** - Clear audio - Louder volume **Cons:** - Lacks true 5.1 surround sound effects Overall, good for basic audio but not for genuine surround sound.
