EDIT TO ADD: it's now been 2.5 months since I've been using True Skin. That very prominent dark spot on my upper lip is so faded it's no longer the first thing you notice when you look at me! It also had a rough texture to it that caught, and held, foundation. The texture is now smooth! This stuff is amazing! Can I give more than 5 stars? Because it deserves it! ORIGINAL POST: Where has this been my whole life? I tried this because it was rated high for dark spots and I have a very prominent sun spot by my upper lip. The spots are lighter and the rough texture is smoothing out. My skin feels soft and the appearance is bright, moisturized, and firm. I had a friend who hadn't seen me for a few weeks tell me I look wonderful and life must be treating me good. I told her it was True Skin! I apply this once a day, with a second application on my dark spots. I'm amazed and extremely happy with the results. Its so easy to use and I'm getting better results than I've ever gotten with the more expensive products. It smells good, too!

I’ve been using the TruSkin Vitamin C Super Serum and I’m honestly impressed with how well it works. Right away, I noticed my face looking brighter and more refreshed. It gives my skin great hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. My skin feels so smooth, and I’ve also seen improvement in my dark spots, which was a big concern for me. With ingredients like Vitamin C, niacinamide, retinol, hyaluronic acid, and squalane, it really does feel like an all-in-one serum. If you’re looking for something that brightens, hydrates, and evens out your skin tone, this serum is definitely worth trying!

This is a nice serum. It goes on well. I think my skin tone looks better. My wrinkles do not seem to be diminishing. It smells pleasant. I wish the price was lower but will buy again.

I was using the Obagi serum for over a year and decided to save a little money and give the TruSkin Vit C Super Serum a try. After using it daily for over 8 weeks I’m not very impressed with it. I wash my face every day, and the first thing I do is apply about a pea size amount of the serum to my forehead, each cheek, my neck, and upper chest (just below my neck line), allow it to soak in a few minutes and then I apply a water gel moisturizer. I follow that up with a zinc-oxide sunscreen with an SPF of 30+. At the end of the day I wash my face again and apply the water gel moisturizer. Pros: It goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave face feeling sticky or greasy, and has a light citrus scent that I am only able to smell when I apply it. Cons: The dark spots on my face did not lighten or fade as others have mentioned (I have fair skin), the bottle design is horrible - if you don’t get the dropper back in the bottle without touching the sides of the opening, you’ll have a big mess around the cap once you screw it back down. Sadly, I will probably be going back to Obagi. I was really hoping this serum would work just as well, but I can’t say it’s really worth it even at this price point.
