Brought off these guys, and had a reasonably good delivery time considering it has to cross the Atlantic. It’s the same great product I once had, except newer. I am sure this will last me many years too (provided I don’t throw it out by accident). Review: Stanley 33-215 Powerlock Tape Rule - Excellent product. That extra 0.5m compared to most tapes is really useful, but still keeps the same width tape. Can't understand why it is not available in the UK.

Great product!

Stanley 33-215 Powerlock Tape Rule
Excellent product. That extra 0.5m compared to most tapes is really useful, but still keeps the same width tape. Can't understand why it is not available in the UK.

Well Built - odd metric scale
bought as replacement for long term UK measure that I missed terribly. This was supplied from US, and maybe that's my problem. Really sturdy and well built, feels good in hand. But, the cm/metric scale is peculiar. Instead of going sequentially from 1cm, 2cm....10, 11, 12cm,.....20,21 ,22,23, 24.............48,49,50,51cm etc This US version goes 1, 2, ...10, 1, 2,.....20,1,2,3,4, .......8, 9, 50, 1, 2, Really irritating, but can be worked around.

Proporciona precisão tanto para medidas internas como externas graças à pequena "folga" (intencional) na ponta. Compacta, o corpo adiciona exatas 2 polegadas à medida. E mede de fato até 10 pés (305 cm). Um pouco difícil de desembalar; apesar da indicação, é melhor não usar uma tesoura, apenas rasgar o papelão e depois remover o gancho para cima do plástico que é bem duro. O corpo é de plástico cromado, mas é bem resistente. Ótima opção para o dia-a-dia.

I specifically wanted the slim frame with metal case as advertised. Product doesn't match description

Funciona super bem e é bonita. Muito prática para usos domésticos. Recomendo.

Been using Stanleys and others for decades. Some less expensive brands are good enough for occasional use, some seem just as good for moderate use, but this metric version of a classic best bet for hard use for just a few extra bucks.
