I have this on my school lanyard with one of these large “handwriting style” mechanical pencils. It keeps me from stealing a student's pencil while I’m walking around helping during a lesson. Will fit a pretty large diameter writing implement. It’s durable and easy to use and the retractor feature can keep the pen pulled out partially or allow it to real all the way back in.

Love this as a nursing student. Keeps my pen handy, prevents it from getting misplaced or falling on the floor. I do wish they offered different size holders so I could use a four color pen with it.

After using for 5 minutes, the retractable line did not retract. As the day went on, I ended up with a tangle of line. Don’t waste your money on this product. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have

I love this pen leash ! I use it for my Apple Pencil so it doesn’t fall on the floor when I stand up quick while using the iPad. I’ve broken so many Apple Pencils this way. Most of these retractable pen thingies don’t have a stop/lock function which doesn’t work while trying to do digital art. Love these!
