As a youngster, I absolutely adore drinking green tea and this drink is especially a plus for me because of it's taste and smell. WHAT COLOR IS IT? >>> This tea IS NOT PURPLE. I've read other reviews stating that their tea came out purple with flecks of blueberry inside, well, I've not experienced any of that. The tea is the exact color pictured on the box, a light golden color with NO specks of blueberry inside. I don't even know how others managed to obtain "PURPLE TEA." It's so hard to believe, but if that's what you got then I honestly think something is wrong with your tea unless the box specifies otherwise. IS THERE ANY TRUE FLAVOR IN THE TEA? The tea has a nice and delicious flavor that I LOVE. Many say that the blueberry in the tea is hardly there and in my opinion, I disagree. There is a hint of blueberry in there, however, it is not as strong as you might think. It's very subtle in taste and when matched with green tea, it's going to be hard to bring out the blueberry flavor. Also, others have mentioned that the tea has no taste and some even say it's bitter. Honestly people, it's only a bag of herbs steeped in hot water so what do you expect? It's going to taste like water with only a small amount of flavor to taste. If you want more taste in your tea, simply add unrefined honey and/or sugar to your tea. You can also add a LITTLE squirt of lemon juice to bring out the flavors and I will assure you that the tea will taste much better. HOW DOES IT SMELL? The smell is AMAZING! When you first open the package, the sweet scent of green tea is the first thing you'll smell. This tells me from the start that this tea is meant to soothe your senses as you drink it simply to become more relaxed and comfortable with it. DOES IT REALLY MAKE YOU SLIM? This is the prized question that mostly everyone wonders about. Well, I'll explain this to you all so you can understand what this tea is. First of all, the tea is a slim life tea, not a burns fat and calories tea. The purpose of the tea is to help you maintain your weight once you maintain a healthy dieting and/or nutritious routine. It's not going to burn fat or calories. It even states all of this on the box itself. However, I've been exercising and eating healthier lately, and it truly surprised me when I lost 6 pounds in five weeks. It may not be much to you, but it sure is a lot for me and my body type. This is one of the main reasons why I'm so in love with this tea. I've lost weight with the help of this tea and a few other products which is awesome. HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT THIS TEA OVERALL? The tea is great!!! Everyone should try it especially since it's organic which is a definite plus. ANYTHING ELSE? The tea also has caffeine in it. It may not be as much as the amount found in coffee, however, it definitely is there as stated on the box. This tea is best used as a morning tea to boost your energy. If you use it at night, you won't be falling asleep anytime soon. Unfortunately, once your body is used to this tea, the energy boost will not be as grand as the first, so it'll be best for you to take it every other day. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE? I drink this tea every day. I drink it hot at home but make it into iced tea for work. The flavor is really good and I never get tired of it. I guess the slimming part is drinking it hot and it makes you use the bathroom more like any beverage I guess. Personally for me, there is no slimming affect, I just like the taste.

Very good tea

First, the taste is very subtle, somewhat orange with floral undertones and weak green tea. What I like about it most is the smell - the blueberry smell seems to be much stronger than any actual flavor. I don't add anything to my herbal teas so this is very drinkable on its own. As to the supposed beneficial effects, that may just be marketing. I started drinking this tea my first week of intermittent fasting (IF, The Fast Diet, 5:2 etc.) and lost 3 pounds that first week. I'm sure it was solely water weight, but I continue to drink it daily because I like the taste and on fasting days it takes away any hunger feelings by having a warm drink. The small amount of caffeine (35 mg per cup) offers an energy boost without the coffee jitters and it does have a mildly diuretic effect. You'll either love it or not, so I recommend trying a single box before committing to the 6-pack, which is definitely a better deal if you want to keep drinking this tea. I think Yogi should re-think the wasteful packaging of their multi-packs: each tea bag is inside a plastic-lined foil envelope, these 16 envelopes inside a boxboard box, and 6 boxes inside yet another cardboard box! There must be a more eco-friendly way to do this.

I LOVE TEA. Ever since I've been trying to cut coffee out of my diet completely (cause of teeth coloring), I started to drink at least 3-4 cups in the morning to rehydrate and get my caffeine kick, and 3-4 more cups throughout the rest of the day. That being said, I never previously found a tea mixture that I could drink for more than 3 days in a row at a time. I've been on a life long hunt for a tea that's a little fruity without extra calories, actually tastes a little fruity, smells/tastes delicious, and gives me a slight caffeine kick. Now, before I go onto my rave about my love for this tea, this tea is not for everyone. If you're not really into the blueberry tasting thing, this is definitely not for you. My office smells like fruity blueberriness when I make this tea (luckily my coworkers don't mind it and enjoy it). I previously tried other fruity teas but found they 1) didn't taste like the fruit even in the slightest bit, 2) only had an amazing scent but no amazing taste, or 3) had some taste of the fruit but left an awful bitter taste in my mouth. In. comes. Yogi's Green Tea Blueberry Slim Tea. I have to be honest. I did not buy this for the slimming effects. I bought it for the promise of the blueberry taste. This is the only tea that fits exactly what I was looking for. I bought this 6 pack thing and zoomed through it within 2.5 months flat. Yikes. And this was with me doing my best to not use more than 3 tea bags a day (several times I broke and went through 5 a day :[[[ ). I loved it that much. Still love it. I've been trying other teas that promise the blueberry taste, but I find others are not as smooth as Yogi's.
