Only worked on the backer sheet if I set the blade to full tension. Blade works on a tension basis, nit on an extension basis like a regular knife. So when you cut it pushes up and in. Although it works, if I had thicker backer it would not work well.But still not a bad purchase at all.

Nice knife but it does not meet my needs because it will not trim more that 1/4". I use a similar knife for trimming wax off my ski edges but it allows for 1/2" or more blade length to cur off the wax.

this makes applying vinyl so much easier! I love it! Get this & a hard spatula for good non bubbly projects

Meh, hard time to cut. Not what I was looking for.

Used it remove tape backing. Can never tell if it cuts and its hard to use it with a guide as it interferes with knife. still a pretty nifty product.

It's hard to use but it does a good job if you use it right.The trick is to hold it in the right angle so the blade hits the paper well. It is also difficult to use it with a ruler, thus hard to make straight lines.But like any other tools, you just have to get used to it.
