Perfect scent for a perfect gentleman

I love it

The fragrance smells really nice—fresh and appealing—but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to last very long. The bottle design is quite elegant, though, and it looks great on a dresser. Overall, a stylish perfume with a pleasant scent that could use a bit more staying power.

Smells exactly like Haltane from Perfums de Marly. Smooth, mature gentleman's fragrance which is best for evenings, definitely not a daytime perfume. Basically, this Detour Eco smells a lot more expensive than it is, with no alcoholic smell, great projection and concentration. Incredible value for money.

It took me a while to write this review because I wasn't sure what to make of this fragrance. This is my first oud fragrance so I didn't know what to expect. This is a strong, oud forward, complex fragrance that might not be for everyone. The first scent that I noticed was a strong lavender citrusy sweetness; then the oud becomes prevalent. The best way I can explain oud is that it is like a warm musky woody scent; it kind of smells like sweet warm sweat TBH. This oud scent is present throughout the entire development of the fragrance but its more prevalent towards the middle of that development. Finally, a sweet woody powdery scent takes over for the rest of the fragrance's development: it's soft, warm, and pleasant. When it comes to performance, I got a solid 8+ hours of longevity with a strong sillage for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a strong fragrance and you can easily overdo it. The bottle is kind of weird looking, and cap can be a bit hard to put back on ( it only goes on in one direction.) I have accidentally sprayed a couple of times while trying to put the cap back on. It's not a big deal for me, all I care about is the juice inside. At first, I didn't quite get the fragrance, its like nothing I've used before, but I ended up liking it. I would say that, if you can sample it first, do so, but at this price point I think it's worth the risk if you like oud fragrances.

This is a very nice smelling perfume. Similar to OFG and PDM Haltane. If the originals are too expensive for your taste this is definitely an excellent replacement.
