Soleil PTC-910B Sole Digital Ceramic Heater

I bought this for our RV for two reasons: 1.) so we could reduce consumption of propane which our regular "furnace" uses, and 2.) because it does not use wires as the heating element. My old heater used wires that smelled like burning dust when first turned on and it had no temperature readout, just higher and lower, so you had to guess at what temperature you were setting. The thing I like the best about this is that you can set a temperature using a digital readout, and this heater will heat the room to that temperature and then shut off. It will maintain that temperature, quietly coming on when the room cools. This heater is capable of keeping our RV at 73 degrees when the outside temperature is only 45, the coldest we have experienced since buying it. However, be aware that when you look at the heater from the back side, the readout appears as "EL", which confused me until I figured it out. Do not merely pull the plug when the heater is running, but rather, turn it off, and the fan will run for about a minute until the ceramic element has cooled enough to protect itself. I highly recommend this heater.

Looks nice, thermostat is adjustable, heats the room nicely. Just wish it had a stronger fan to circulate the air better.

The room where I watch TV seems to be colder than the other rooms. This little heater makes it so I don't have to turn the heat up in the rest of the house just for the one room. It is just perfect! I also have one in the basement to keep my feet warm when I'm sewing. I highly recommend this product.

This heater looks good ,works good on eco button on 68 degree almost whole day but I do turn it off so that it doesn't get over heated .I like my room on 80 degree in winter season and this heater wprks on 80 degree not more than 5 minutes after that it automatically turns off and doesn't start again until u turn it on again.Not very safe for curious toddlers and pets. I am living in 600 sq feet studio and this doesn't make my studio as warm as i like but it's does make my room warm .It take lot of hours for this heater to warm up my studio to be comfortable temperature in winter.Not sure exactly how many hours it takes to warm my studio .my cousin has same heater but her heater doesn't give her any problem. My cousin keeps her heater on 85 degree in winter season for hours and it doesn't turn off automatically.

DO NO BUY! It was the best heater...for ONLY 2 months, and now it’s not working. It turns on when I first press the button but then after that, won’t go back on. Disappointment because I loved it. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they don't even sell on Amazon. I highly recommend purchasing from the Soleil website. This off hand seller can't be trusted.

Very nice control settings and will easily heat a room. I bought a new one when my original conked out after about five years of use (and being kicked over more than I’d like to admit). I will be much more cautious with this one.

I liked this heater at first, but you never know how it will work each time it's used. I've tried setting it on a lower setting just to keep it running, but that doesn't always work. Once it shuts off, it's nearly impossible to get it running again. Sometimes this will happen after one or two minutes of use. When it runs, it's great. It really throws out the heat better than most heaters.

Our furnace went out in our motorhome & we didn't have time to get it fixed right away. This little guy did a great job. The motorhome is only 26', but it would warm a larger space.
