Caterpillar Threshold Waterproof Boot

I purchased these boots back in 2021 when I started tiling, I initially got them as work boots. Since then I have worn them almost every day, I’ve taken them on some pretty serious hikes and on all sorts of adventures, and abused them daily on construction sites. And they have taken it all so well!! I’ll include a picture of how they look today after 4 years of daily use. They are definitely getting worn and I’m definitely going to order a new pair at some point. But the soles are still in decent shape and ohhhh they are comfy!! They’ve definitely shaped to my foot and I love it. I keep them permanently loose-laced and they slip on and off great. That’s just personal preference. I am super super happy with these boots and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone. Update: these boots probably could have lasted me another 6 months at least but I decided to get a new pair rather than buy new insoles for the old ones. I am so so happy with them! I’ll include pics of the new ones next to the old. Note the old ones were brown, new ones are black. The new boots feel very comfy and I’m excited to break them in. I happily expect to wear these boots daily for the next 4-5 years!

My husband works for FedEx! So we walk a lot! He said they were a little heavy to walk in! Beautiful quality but I guess they’re more for a person that works more in an” industrial” environment! Comfortable but works more for someone that needs the protection…. Definitely nicely made in style and durable. keeps your feet dry.. and warm… plain solid style boot.’ logo nicely placed.. definitely get your money worth. true to size…. Keep your feet protected and warm… definitely worth the money not very easy to get dirty… ‼️ go up a size in a half‼️ if you have really narrow or wide feet … Definitely will purchase again…

Very comfortable out of the box. Delivery driver take lots of streps 12 hours a day. I spent $150 in the past on work boots and have to break them in feet hurt at first when new. So far so good out of the box don't feel like you need to break them in. Seem reliable and decently made, so far

This is my second pair of these boots. They hold up well, are pretty comfortable out the box and are made pretty well too. All leather uppers, say they’re waterproof but beyond stepping in a few deep puddles and wet grass I can’t confirm. If you want serious waterproof boots you gotta get GoreTex anyways. The soles don’t have an aggressive lug pattern which I like cuz these boots don’t pick up a lot of mud and debris. I like the covered toe part which is like a rubberized fabric. Which will wear through after a while so if you’re on your knees a lot they’ll wear out after a while. Good heel support and decent arch support. Get yourself some good insoles, no boot company I’ve seen gives you good insoles with the boots they’re all a joke. Get the best ones you can find cuz they’re worth it. The eyelets some people don’t like cuz they can break, the top lace hook popped out on mine but I don’t need it. The laces are like paracord, and seem to last longer than normal but not the life of the boots unless your working indoors. All in all if you can find these for under $90 Is grab em. Plus, they do look pretty cool I think.

These shoes arrived quick and were as expected. Sized just right, with good arch support and strong rubber sole for the best traction possible. His feet stay dry and warm.

I need a smaller size. It is an amazing product. I am buying 2 pairs ... Had to return it but it is a great quality.

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. About 6 months in, stepped in a couple shallow puddles from rain and got instant wet socks. There were no signs of cracks/holes along the sole. If they had been waterproof I would have given them 5 stars.

I have bought other boots that frankly were awful. I as a caver and climber know a good boot. The CAT boot is a great boot. I have been in Construction for over 50 years. For the price nothing even comes close. They will feel a bit stiff as they are leather not plastic. Breaking in will take some time. Wear two pair of socks for a while. AMAZON this is an Exellent Boot for the price. It lives up to the CAT name. Thanks rt

Husband is very happy with these boots. He says they are warm, keep him dry and very comfortable. He's had CAT footware before and requested them over other top brands.
