Update - 08/17/24 Well, after a week long interaction via email and after much troubleshooting, Eufy customer support came through with flying colors and after telling me on 08/15 they will replace the lock, they did! Just got it and the lock works great! Very happy with Eufy! I changed my rating from two stars to five and they earned it! I say buy it if you want it. And I will be buying their other product like the solar camera. Do buy the extended warranty if available. So, this is my second Eufy Smart Lock, the first is the Smart Lock S230 and so far it works. I installed S230 just a week ago from this review and I'm happy with it. However, NOT happy with the C33. The installation was very easy as it fitted right into the door where old Z-WAVE lock was installed. No modifications. The app setup, like S230, was very easy and very quick. Now the not so happy part, the keypad does not work. It will not light up. It will not accept the PIN. The fingerprint on the handle works. But, if I or my family and guest cannot enter their PIN it's just useless. I've opened a service ticket and I'm hoping they can tell me how to fix it and I'm going to give them 72 hours from today. Otherwise, I'm returning it to Amazon. And likely I won't be buy the cameras or door bell. I'll update this review by this weekend.

The item work great for 3 months and then the door handle jammed and could not be open. I had to call locksmith out that worked on it for an hour drilling and prying the door latch out of the frame that was broken. It cost me $154 for the locksmith and also the price of the device that I purchased from Amazon. Their cameras are great but they're locks are not.

This lock could not be more convenient. The fingerprint reader works well and is positioned perfectly so you naturally place your thumb on the reader. It has a great feature where you can have it stay open for a given amount of time after unlocked, even when opening from the inside. I use this in my garage as an extra level of security for when my garage door is open. I have it set for 10 minutes and that’s perfect for 95% of my use cases when I go in and out to get things. Great product. My only request would be to update the app to give different notification options for different users. I don’t need to be notified when I use it but I’d like to know when my nonresident users are accessing my door.

The Eufy Smart Lock C330 has been a solid upgrade for our home. It offers flexible and secure entry options, including fingerprint, keyless entry, and a traditional key. The fingerprint sensor is impressively fast and accurate, usually unlocking on the first try, which is great for busy moments. We also appreciate the keyless entry, which means family members can enter without needing a key. Compared to the Eufy Smart Lock C30, the installation of the C330 took a bit longer, likely due to some added components and adjustments. Having a drill on hand made the process easier, and the installation guide was clear and easy to follow. The lock feels well-built and durable, providing us with peace of mind that it will withstand frequent use. App integration is smooth, allowing us to monitor entries, lock/unlock remotely, and track usage from a smartphone.

This was easy to install and sync up with my other Eufy products on the app. My only complaint is how many batteries it takes and how quickly they need to be replaced. Lasted about 3 months on new batteries and rechargeable batteries last about 2 months. It’s easy enough to change the batteries out though so it’s worth having a digital door knob that is sturdy and looks great. Sometimes the finger print needs two tries to unlock but it always works and you can enter the code if not.

Would be excellent, except it eats through batteries every 3-4 weeks I need to put new ones in. I tried some rechargeable lithium too but they weren't any better. >Update. Customer Support reached out to me and has been very helpful, they have pushed a firmware update, and I will see over the next month if it has worked to address the issue. They also offered a full refund, but I decided to keep it and see if the firmware update addresses it.

Easy to install. Had to replace twice. The latch keeps breaking.

Works great and set up instructions were detailed, love it! Connects with your phone and locks firmly.
