Now that I have racked up a few hundred miles I felt it time to write a review of this bike. For the money, it is a good little bike, although you may need to swap out some parts to make it better. I'm a 60-something bloke, 6ft and overweight, so I wasn't expecting much; however, now that I have had it for some time, I can comment. Overall, the stock bike is quite good. I changed the saddle, as the one it comes with is like sitting on a razor! Additionally, I swapped out the discs and pads on the brakes for some better quality ones; the stock brakes are not really up to the job and on the bike I received, one of the discs was warped which made the bike shudder to a stop. As for the range, over hilly Dartmoor it returned 21 mile on a full charge, or 34 miles on fairly flat roads. Considering im 95kg, the mileage isn't too bad.

I didn't want to spend a fortune on an e-bike. This fits the bill perfectly. One thing I hadn't noticed until I adjusted the brake cable on the disc unit, was that the brakes were the wrong way around for countries that drive on the left. This is easily rectified by switching the cables at the handlebars over & takes about 20 minutes.

It came very well packaged and required minimal building. All tools were included but I used my own for some jobs just to make life easier. It took about an hour to build in total including the time to retrieve the seat post that I accidentally dropped into the frame! Everything worked first time and it is very nice to ride! As per UK law, the max speed it 25 kph but it gets to this speed very quickly on the flat and only slows down on the steeper hills. I have only taken it out for a couple of 10mile rides so far and the battery hasn't budged from 100% yet so I'm planning a longer ride at the weekend. It certainly makes me want to get out and enjoy the countryside. I have noticed a bit of a squeak from the front brake disk and the power seems to be quite abrubt. i.e. it comes on quite suddenly and also cuts out suddenly (as required by law, of course). It's also a bit rattley but nothing too bad. Overall I would recommend this as it seems to have the best range and performance for the price. And it's UK road legal which many don't seem to be. It's not as finnessed as some bikes I've seem but they all either cost a lot more or have a lot less range or both. A couple of slight niggles - it came with an EU plug not a UK. The seat didn't match the installation instructions but wasn't too tricky to work out. A screw was missing from the display attachment mechanism. I DIYed a fix rather than contact their support to save time.

The bike is set at a perfect price point but is in no way entry level. It came well packaged and protected. All the tools you need to assemble are included. There is an assembly video available which is helpful. The range is better than many e bikes costing £600 more. Saddle is comfy and brakes work well. I had to do some slight adjustment on the rear derailer but that is to be accepted. Overall I can't fault the bike, and at a great price.

This was my first E Bike and so after reading the positive reviews from other people i decided to go for this model Varun 27-1 electric bike and i am not disappointed with it. It comes well packaged and 90% already assembled so i watched the video on how to assemble it and it took me an hour before i could go for a test run on it and after getting used to the gears on both handles as well as how to use the assisted travel pad whilst riding it,, i was very impressed with the whole bike and it"s features, especially the boost mode which was perfect for hills or headwind and you are not sweating and getting tired quickly. For the money, this bike is perfect and i would recommend this bike to anyone who is thinking about buying their first E bike. The aftersales service with Varun on their Whatsapp page was first class and they responded the same day with any queries i had with the bike. The motor was very powerful for me ,especially as i am 6.6ft tall and weigh over 15 stone, it gave me a great thrust of speed when in use and the battery is very powerful, so i can get a week of biking without having to charge it up. Overall, 5 stars rating for this Ebike.

Ho recentemente ordinato la Varun M27-1 e per ora sono estremamente soddisfatto. L'autonomia sembra davvero come promesso e l'utilizzo è facile ed intuitivo. Ho intenzione di utilizzarla nel tragitto casa-lavoro e nel tempo libero con la bella stagione e non vedo l'ora di metterla alla prova! Per la mia esperienza non posso che consigliare questo prodotto visto anche l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Después de mucho buscar, recopilando información sobre la calidad general de estas e-bicis elegí finalmente esta bici por su peso de solo 20Kg, que facilita su transporte en coche, sus 21 desarrollos que bien acompasados y empujados por una batería de 624WH ofrece una autonomía muy considerable que bien puede superar los 100km. Tiene un perfil deportivo de montaña con neumáticos algo más anchos que proporcionan un buen agarre y estabilidad en pistas de montaña. Me ha llegado cinco días antes de la fecha prevista muy bien embalada, con instrucciones claras para el montaje y las herramientas necesarias. La pantalla LCD es muy clara y proporciona información variada. En definitiva, mi experiencia y sensaciones durante mis primeros dos paseos que acumulan 75 km de pista, no han sido suficientes para agotar la batería y todo con un precio realmente competitivo.
