Very strong, doesn't rip. It's a thick nylon material with a waterproof coating. The valve is not flimsy. I was able to roughly adjust this bag under the weight of my 200lbs husband while trying to close the zipper, as my mother was trying to shove it to the max for an upcoming trip. The bag survived and it shrunk up nicely. We were able to perfectly fit the large bag in a standard size (not carry on size) hard shell rolling suitcase.

These things are FANTASTIC!!! If you are tired of the cheap version of vacuum bags that don't hold suction and tear at the drop of a hat ... drop those like hot potatoes and rush to buy these Hefty vacuum bags. These bags are SUPER heavy duty and are very easy to use. Standard bags I have used in the past were difficult to get closed, but these are so easy to close up with the 'zip' top that I realltmy don't even need the little slider to help (but the slider is nice and stays on so much better than other brands. These vacuum down SO well and make my comforters and clothes so much more compact hat I can fit more in my closet and under bed storage than I could using other bags. I am sold and have already purchased more! Will buy again!!

I’ve tried a bunch of vacuum storage bags and honestly, most of them were a letdown—tearing easily or randomly popping open like they gave up. These Hefty vacuum bags are a total standout. They’re thick, sturdy, and actually *stay sealed*. I’ve packed them with pillows, blankets, and throws, then stored them inside a large wooden trunk with splinters (not exactly a gentle environment), and they haven’t torn or opened once. If you’re tired of flimsy bags that don’t hold up, these are it. Durable, reliable, and doing exactly what they’re supposed to do. Worth it.

These work very well. My only hesitation is I don’t know how durable and what their longevity will be. But all these sort of products are a bit flimsily but this one seemed the strongest. Be careful not to lose those white fastener clips. It was be a real B$+ch to seal without it.

The best vacuum storage bag I have used. The easy seal ability keeps them from leaking. Larger storage capacity than I expected. They are a bit on the expensive side. The durability allows for me to keep heavier items organized. The sets don’t have enough of each size in it.
