I like that it doesn’t take up floor space. It’s can handle a beating too! One of my cats is constantly trying to balance on top of it and the suction cups have not let go

This scratching post has been a total win in our household! As soon as I set it up, my cat went straight for it and hasn’t stopped using it since. It’s the perfect height for her to stretch out fully, and the material is durable enough to withstand her daily claw workouts. What I really appreciate is how sturdy the base is because there is no wobbling or tipping over, even when she gets really into it. Plus, it actually looks nice in the living room! The neutral colors blend in with our decor, and it doesn’t take up too much space.

The step you see in this photo is great, stays on very well. The post however kept losing suction at the top and tipping over. I tried to work with it and intentionally have it leaning so that if it lost suction it could be propped up by the step. But then it compromised the step too much, so I ended up just returning the post and keeping the steps.

I was surprised how this thing was designed. It’s really cool. We put it on our sliding patio door as a replacement to another one. We bought probably 10 years ago. You can adjust it anyway you want to on the window hold up to a big heavy cat scratching on it, it was wise purchase

Bought the scratching post rather than the platforms in hopes of deterring a cat from our blinds. One of the suction cups was a little flattened, but would develop grip on the window after a few hours. I left the various fasteners loose so that there was some flexibility in the brackets, but that rattles against the glass and probably will have to be tightened. Our lightest cat (~9-10 pounds) will stretch up and use the scratching post, and the suction cups have held for about a week. Unfortunately, it's a larger cat that I was hoping would use it instead of the blinds. I may lower it about six inches to see if that is more appealing to her. Definitely measure your window before settling on it, because it is larger than I expected. The wood brackets assembled easily enough and feel secure. The nuts that hold them to the scratching post and to the suction cups are adjustable. I had initially thought about installing it horizontally instead of vertically, but didn't try that yet. If your cat decides to use the scratching post instead of your curtains or blinds, that's probably a pretty good value over replacing blinds every year. Unfortunately, cats are unpredictable, so good luck.
