Perfect for casual listening!
So, for starters, I do a lot of gardening and spend plenty of time in my yard; these have yet to slip or fall out, even on the stickiest sweaty summer days. They’re super comfortable and I absolutely love the design and fit. They fit just around the outside of your ears, like a cuff and the tiny speaker is just resting on your ear. I love that they don’t actually go into your ears (like an airpod would) and that they don’t fully cover your ears, like full size headphones do. Perfect for when you want to be aware of your surroundings while catching up on podcasts, audiobooks or just having some background music while working out or getting chores done. They’re super lightweight, I’ve never felt like they were weighing me down or tugging. The battery life is great, I actually haven’t charged them since I received them two weeks ago, and the battery sensor says they’re still full (shocking!) The JLab app allows you to fully customize the levels of the audio, which is handy if you’re into that sort of thing. You can also totally customize the tap functions (pause, skip, volume up/down, google/siri) in the app as well, although I’ve opted to turn the majority of gestures off except for pause and volume controls. They function well, and as expected. They’re not massively expensive, so I wouldn’t expect a full on studio experience from $30-40 earbuds, but the sound quality is great. If you need earbuds that allow you to be aware of your surroundings, don’t slip, and don’t cost an arm and a leg, you’ve found them. The only downside is finding a case cover, the charging port is on the back of the case, not the bottom, and the case is wider than it is tall, so it’s quite difficult to find a match. (I’ve opted to use a case intended for Bose Ultra Open earbuds, but the charging port isn’t in the right spot, so the cover needs to be removed once i finally get around to charging the case itself. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you want to have a secure and accessible case cover.)

Perfect for small ears
If you have very small ear canals like I do, these are a great alternative to in-ear buds. The sound quality is not going to impress someone who is looking for audio perfection, but they should also not be looking in this price range, as they know. I have no problem hearing my audiobooks or music. I can wear these doing an aerobic workout and they do not fall out or slip. You can use just one if you prefer to be able to hear what is going on around you. Great buds at a great price.

Work well
These look goofy, I’m embarrassed to wear them as they look like giant black body modifier earrings. I would order the clear next time for that reason. The small matte black case is also very easy to lose as it is hard to see against pretty much any background but it does fit easily into even small pockets unobtrusively. I don’t wear these casually because of their looks and they are dedicated for cycling. That said, I use them on every bike ride (mtb and gravel) regardless of how they look because they work so well. The sound is very good, only obscured in high headwinds. They don’t seem to obscure external noise at all, I can easily hear other bikes coming up behind me etc, sometimes I will take off one side if I have to talk to someone for an extended period. The battery case has a remarkable capacity, and headphones seem to last ~6-8 hours per charge. The JLab app is worth downloading as it does unlock functionality such as equalizer settings and trouble shooting. Every now and then one side will not automatically power on/connect, but a basic long press will reboot it and it always connects after that. On my ears they are very comfortable for 2-3 hrs, then the pressure does become noticeable/uncomfortable on the backside of my ears.

Value for money
This earbud is so cute, functions 100%, the sound quality is excellent, the earbuds fit perfectly and comfortably on my ear.. it's almost if they're not there. It also connected immediately to my phone. I love it!

Okay for the price but design needs slight revisions.
I purchased these based on a comparison I read to the more expensive Bose product. I primarily use them for music listening while I’m moving around. Positive: The open ear design allows you to wear them while still being able to wear eye glasses. They stay on great. The tap controls work good. Pairing to an iPhone is easy. Negative: They are a bit uncomfortable. I wish the parts that actually come in contact with my ears was made of rubber instead of hard plastic. Tends to irritate my ears. Maybe my ears are too large as I would of of also liked the ring part to just be smidgen (1/8”) larger because they press uncomfortably into my outer ears. Would be nice if the length were adjustable. I also wish the speakers were a little bit longer and pressed into my ear canals more so I could enjoy the music and bass better. The rear of the Flex pushes your earlobes out a bit which makes you look a little odd but that’s just part of the open ear design I guess. Sometimes when scrolling through my iPhone over print the earbuds will suddenly stop for some reason as if I pressed pause. Summary: Overall they are what they are, a useful way to be connected while mobile but not great for the serious audio enthusiast. For the price I will keep them. Update11/24: I am now used to them so they are less uncomfortable then previously. When perusing the internet on my phone the earbuds sometime stop. They don’t like things like touching a picture or even scrolling anywhere near an advertisement or they will think your playing with the tap controls. Also, if you lay back on a pillow the touch controls will press into your neck and get confused. Still great for walking around connected to music though. Lastly, these earbuds make your earlobes stick out a bit but it works for me. Like some kind of electronic tribal piercing thing. Now if they would just invent a mini subwoofer that clips into my nostrils I’d be set. Update 11/25: After a few months of use my left earbud was starting to distort and make a humming vibrating sound during deep bass notes on some of my tunes so ended up trading in my Jlabs for a new set of $100+ Baseus XC1 open ear buds. Although similar in design they have been performing mostly better musically wise so far. Sorry Jlab.

These are my first open-ear headphones. Sound: 8-9/10 Ok, the sound experience doesn't compare to in-ear headphones, but I would say that for me it's above expectations. Application: 9/10 It's simple, exactly what you need. Mic/call quality: 8.5/10 I would say it does a good job on calls. Case: Looks a bit cheap, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, I would say it's a good purchase. For the price range paid (30-40eu), it's a very good product.

Adorei!
