Devol Radiator Guards For 00-24 SUZUKI DRZ400S

A must have if you take your DRZ off road. DRZ S/SM model guards do not come with the back brace (image is wrong). The horn would be in the way. Overall I like it. Should double the strength or the rads, and help the lower corner avoid most damage. Just a heads up, these make your rads much stronger, but by no means will protect from all damage. It should be fine for most drops, but some drops are too hard for any guards. Pros: Fair price Easy to install (maybe 15 min total) Quality welds. Nice clean beads with no undercut or splatter. Protection for most drops and roost projectiles. Looks nice and really cleans up the front end with shiny aluminum. At least doubles the strength of the rads. Adds additional protection to the lower outside corner of the rads, which are unprotected stock. Cons: Will not protect from the hardest drops (but you actually need crash bars/cage for that). Heavier than stock, plastic roost deflector. Would be nice to have a back brace for added strength. Something that connects to the frame directly. Looks as though an angular impact from front to back would easily bend the guards.

Fast, EZ install. All predrilled holes lined-up to OEM existing holes for a solid fit. Much netter protection.

They work as they should but they are difficult to install. You may have to bend them to fit

Good functional design, should protect the radiators fine. The left guard will need to be trimmed if your running a Clarke 3,9 gal fuel tank.

I got them to try and protect the radiators from both sticks and rocks but also from being crushed from the sides. Time will tell whether they can prevent a crush or not. A bit of a challenge to put on my DRZ400 since there is little extra room with my large IMS tank but I was able to work it out without too much trouble. It looks fantastic!

So far so good with about 5 dump overs. The DRZ400S ones come with no bracing. Seems like a weak point at the top lateral points of the guards. Also has a lot of pressure on the top of the left guard with an Acerbis 3.9 gallon tank. I guess I should have ground that part of the guard down but instead I put a few pieces of gorilla duct tape over the edge of the guard so the tank wasn't pressing into direct metal. If I had the chance to buy again I would have ordered a different brand with better mounting points and tighter tolerances with the radiator.

For 2001 rm250 owners this fits on the rm250 👍🏼 i just have to bent the bottom corner a little coz it's hitting the frame but other than that it fits

Easy install and huge upgrade from OEM plastic radiator shroud. Yeah, that's a DeVol skid plate too---ready to send it.
